Hello!

My name is Roz. This is my second time joining Subeta, first time truly playing. I had previously played other web-based pet games, but somehow didn't get the hang of Subeta so I allowed my account to fall into the abyss. Then back in August a very dear, old friend mentioned that a Subeta pet with my real life pet's name was up for adoption in the pound. This was enough of an enticement to try Subeta again. I joined in August, but I took my time getting to know the site, and didn't really find myself visiting often until the end of September. It only occurred to me there are forums here a few days ago, so here I am belatedly introducing myself.

You may have guessed already, what with joining Subeta to adopt a pet with my dog's name, but pets are an important part of my life. I have two pets currently, both dogs, and both former pound pets themselves. Their names are Dex and Fig. They are both senior dogs that don't act their age, and Heeler (Australian Cattle Dog) mixes, but the similarities end there. They are otherwise as different as night and day.

Aside from spending time with my dogs, I enjoy making art, reading, learning, gardening (I used to cultivate orchids when I lived in Hawai'i and miss it), playing games, and taking photos.

I'm really enjoying Subeta (cannot figure out why it took me so long to play!), and I look forward to meeting others here.

My favorite genre is sci-fi/fantasy, but I'll give most books a shot. I also enjoy reading dog training and behavior books. What is yours?

I like it! I haven't done too much with the forums yet but I play some of the games, do the dailies and train my pets. ^^ I need to be more active on the forums though haha.

Oh, that sounds interesting! I read a lot of history, diaries from the holocaust, biographies, things like that.

Me too. :] I've been doing dailies, training, and the quests, plus learning where everything is and what all there is. (And spending too much time on the HA wardrobe). Haha. The site is more expansive than I initially realized.

What's your favorite history book?

The only thing I haven't really done yet (that I know of) is battling.

Do you mind if I send you a comment? There's quite a few books I like and ones that I haven't read yet but I'm really excited about them.

Welcome! there is a lot to do on this site for many different interests! You see our forums but there is also pet battles, collections, achievements and more! its very exciting, I hope you enjoy your time here!
