Any JoJo fans on Subeta? Let's talk about the anime and manga!

I love the weird but surprisingly powerful abilities and creative, tactical combat. It's hard to imagine how Araki comes up with some of these ideas (Subliminal rainbows that turn you into a snail? Really?) but it's always fun and exciting to discover everyone's bizarre abilities and see how the heroes use their creativity to defeat seemingly invincible enemies.

How I rank the parts:

4>6>7>2>5>1>3

Jury's still out on part 8, but so far it seems like it'll end up somewhere in between 6 and 2 on that list.

I've heard about this series for years but until it started airing on Toonami(last year I think?) I never tried it. After Part I wrapped up I dove into the manga and really found myself enjoying it after I got over the rough art early on. I'm somewhere into Part 3 for the anime and manga right now. I'm digging the Stands overall but I think Part 2 has been the highlight of the series so far. I can't believe there are so many Parts left to get into!

I recently fell into the world of JoJo myself. I love every bit of it. I had heard about it a lot just randomly online but never paid any attention to it. It wasn't until Toonami aired the first season that it caught my attention. I was sitting on my computer and out of no where I hear all these british accents, and it was all "gentleman this and gentleman that" and I got so curious XD I instantly fell in love with Johnathan Joestar [he had such a short part but he will forever be my favorite JoJo]

After that I ended up binge reading all the arcs, took me about 2 weeks to do so, because I just couldn't get enough of it. Although I will say I had the worst time with Part 5, it was just so boring to me. And its funny because its such a popular arc. Im currently waiting for more to be released for Part 8 but so far I really am loving it.

One of my most favorite things about the series is how Araki does death, the way he draws the characters in the clouds as a final goodbye always gets me, its so beautiful and touching.

I have yet to finish watching the anime versions but I will eventually.

My ranking for the arcs are

3-6-4-7-1-2-5

And liking Johnathan has nothing to do with how low his Arc is ranked, I just love his gentleman personality, im a sucker for sweet, buff, not so smart guys XD Part 8 is not ranked yet, but it will most likely end up around 6 or 4 possibly between them. So far i am really enjoying it.

I'm still waiting on the part 5 anime while waiting for Jojolion to be much more quicker with the chapter releases. xD

A lot less people here than I expected. Or maybe the JoJo fans are just like me and mostly focused on the rest of the site.

Anyways, Part 5 anime is exceeding expectations so far with how much it improves on both the original artstyle and adding/moving characterization to make the cast more fleshed out than the manga did.

The torture dance is possibly the best representation of those aforementioned improvements. DavidPro really went above and beyond for that.
