Really, I just wanted a pair of needlenose pliers for a pet who occasionally makes jewelry out of necessity... but the lack of them made me realize this is a hobby that is sadly underrepresented here. We can be metallurgists and glass artists, but no jewelry makers? Seems like an oversight!

I know the Jewlery Tools from the Steamworks Menagerie are a thing... and recolors (one of which I bought for him and actually suits my purposes just fine... and may even be better than the tools themselves), but we have none of the tools themselves... that I can find, please correct me if I'm wrong.

I know next to nothing about making jewelry so this is by no means a comprehensive list, so others can feel free to chime in.

Pliers (needle nose, bent nose, round nose, flat nose) Wire cutters/nippers Crimping tool Beading wire Beading needles Beading tweezers Bead mat Bead board Tiny hammers Jump rings and other findings (is findings the right word here?) Clasps (lobster claw, those round ones that I don't know the name of, etc) Cording/tiger tail/memory wire, whatever other things they are to string beads on Compartmented boxes (and while we're at it, how about a misleading cookie tin for sewing supplies haha)

Not to mention endless potential for beads and stones and pretty things (even if it's just "Assorted Blue Beads" or something of that nature), plus instructional books!

Oh I'd love some little Jewelry-making Supplies, I don't personally have a use for them but they'd be super cute I think

Yes please! So many pretty beads out there (my favorites are the blown glass ones) that would make lovely tc fodder.

I'd like to see some of these on Subeta, as well! And can you imagine if you're able to use them for actually making jewelry at Asmodeus' Lab?

I like the idea of misleading cookie tin. Tackle boxes, cigar boxes, sewing kits and re-used spice jars (for keeping loose beads) are also fun makeshift storage a jeweler might need.

We do have an actual NPC jeweler, NPC Mattieu. Maybe this stuff could be sold at his place instead of from the Thimbles? We did have a mini scavenger hunt for NPC Mattieu so one of these would result in us making a jewel combo or something but as a regular thing I dunno if the Genetech Lab it is the place.

Yes, I'd love this! Having jewelry-related tools and beads would be so helpful for a bunch of my TCs.

Full support - this would be perfect for Conservatory's treasure! :D

....and I love the idea of a misleading cookie tin for sewing supplies too :D (reminds me of the chocolate box my Gran always reuses to wrap Christmas presents in - it's never chocolate biscuits inside it :P)

Ah, very cute! Full support.

I also like 's idea! It would be very cool to get the tools and beads in shops, and then have to craft items in the lab to get jewelry pieces!

it's maker's month ("tools and stuff month"), so i've got my fingers crossed for all sorts of odds and ends, but especially a cookie tin filled with sewing supplies 8)

but more to the original topic -- loose tools would be nice. i also bought the jewelry tools for a tc, but having a loose pliers and such mixed in with everything else would be just that much better.
