This was something I did as a kid so I wanted to start again now but all of the online journaling platforms (livejournal etc) seem to be something else entirely and I know people blog and use tumblr but that doesn't seem to have the same secure, friends only safe space that I'm used to. Do any of you know any sites, possibly lesser known that you use to house your writing?

Dreamwidth (dreamwidth.org) is like LJ was before LJ sold out. I moved all my journals there (they make it very easy to do so). I still crosspost to LJ from DW but I know my stuff will be safe should anything happen to LJ or my LJ account. The LJ-type platform is kind of dead these days, but if you're just looking for a safe place to put your writing, LJ, DW is a good choice.

Also, in case you didn't know, it is possible to make a tumblr with a password and afaik posts there won't show up on people's dash or tag searches. I have a writing tumblr that I use occasionally and only one person has the password.

I have elected to give the writing another shot. For now I'll be content with random thoughts, a short Russian sentence, and practicing my mirrored signature. It'll be fun to be the odd man out writing on a notebook. I'm old school, I know.

Old, and obsolete.

You can password protect your Tumblr.

I keep a planner and I like the idea of bullet journaling and those kinds of blogs a lot. It's all over Tumblr, Instagram, Pinterest, etc. Handwriting in notebooks is actually really popular right now. There are a lot of great calligraphers and hand letterers sharing their work online too.

That's how isolated I am. I don't see much of this, even when among people. I however, do this as a southpaw. My entries are upside down and backwards...

I used to write in Penzu - an online diary/journal but I don't write there anymore. I'm back writing old school in a journal notebook with a fountain pen (my new addiction) . I just like writing down things and seeing the letters form. It calms me after a stressful day.

I still have my LiveJournal account I started way back before I even had a MySpace lol. I'll occasionally write LiveJournal entries but set them to private. I also still have notebooks I write in sometimes and I have a journal app for Windows.

I keep many journals these days. I also have a livejournal and a tumblr. Getting kinda frustrated with it to be honest though. I need more life to write about. :P

What's bad, we'll fix it
What's wrong, we'll make it alright, alright
It's gone, we'll find it
Takes so long, we've got time
