Good afternoon, all. I have some bad news and some good news for you all today.

We are sad to announce that has stepped down from her admin position here at Wizarding. We are sad to see her go, but wish her all the best luck with her next endeavour! We are eternally grateful to have had such a wonderful person as part of our staff for the amount of time we did, and we’re sure her creative mind and dedication are going to take her places!

I am sure some of you have also noticed I have not been around the group as much over the past couple of months. I have recently earned a promotion at work, and unfortunately, my new responsibilities have taken up a lot of my time and energy. I am hoping this will change in the near future as I get more comfortable in my new role, however, and that I will be able to dedicate more time to the group.

I do also have some good news, however! has been promoted from Head Girl status! She and I will now be running the group as partners in crime. I personally am really excited to be working more closely with her!

Okay, now onto the real reason for this post. Due to the changes in staff and circumstances, we are currently looking to fill a few Head Girl/Boy spots as well as Prefect positions for the next term (which will tentatively be starting mid-November). In the past, the admins and current Heads have reached out to candidates we thought would be best for the position based on their performance in the prior term. This time, however, we’d like to open it up to anyone who is interested in applying.

Please keep in mind when applying that we are looking for creative individuals! This includes both Head Girl/Boy and Prefect. We often look to Prefects for ideas for upcoming events, such as the term ball.

If applying for Head Girl/Boy, please keep in mind that and I communicate primarily through Skype. So if you have access to Skype, this would be a bonus! We are willing to communicate through other means if needed, however. We also heavily rely on Google Docs to keep organized, so access to Google Docs is a must.

We primarily communicate with Prefects using the forum group forum dedicated for Prefects.

We are looking to fill at least 2 Head Girl/Boy positions. We are looking to fill 2 Prefect positions for each house.

Just out of curiosity, what is the time commitment for either head girl/prefect position?

I am asking because I am quite busy with IRL things at this moment (especially as the holidays are starting to creep up), but want to see if this could be something I'd be able to commit to.
