So Rhombus of Ruin came out this year and it was like, BAM! And now they've released gameplay footage of the actual sequel (I guess you'd call RoR a midquel) and all we know is that it takes sixteen goats to spell a dirty word, Raz has sisters, and Sasha is adorable. So I made this thread for my fellow psycadets to freak out in, share thoughts/speculations, link to fanwork, post their fandom-themed pets and you know, just to act as a containment unit for Psychonauts fans. There are literally hundreds of us!

Also I'm really looking forward to a possible Loboto redemption/recovery arc and hoping to see the inmates at least make a cameo.

I haven't played RoR yet (hopefully soon though!) but the sequel is the thing I am most hyped for right now. I backed the Fig campaign for it and just get excited every time there's an email update - which there just haven't been enough of! Eh, I can be patient. Maybe.

In the meantime I've been going back to the first game to try and get all the Steam achievements (still trying to find all the figments!). I've used up all my save slots already, replaying parts and going back, etc.

In terms of story, I'm mostly looking forward to learning more about the characters we already met in the first game (Sasha and Milla both being favourites of mine) and seeing how they will develop during the sequel's events.

I hope they spent some of the campaign money to hire someone to help Schafer spend the budget in a rational manner. Schafer knows what he's doing when it comes to games, but he's no good when it comes to controlling the usage of money.

I haven't replayed Psychonauts in years, I really should. Super excited for the sequel, Rhombus of Ruin really reinvigorated my love for it.
