I'm very interested in Ell. His story would intertwine with my two pets, Billie and Barley. Both are pretty new additions but I'm really enjoying working on the pair of them in my free time!

In a world where the supernatural is not only common and present in society, but accepted within it! My concept is that in this society, there must be branches of law enforcement for supernatural crime. Billie works as a specialist in those missing children cases that are suspected to be of a more magical nature; Barley meanwhile is a demon bartender in a bar called The Glass Ceiling.

Ell would be a human in this world, his name being short for Elliott. (Though I'd keep him genderless, most likely.) He's in training at the law enforcement agency where Billie works, and becomes her assistant/partner/trainee, much to her dismay. They end up building an unlikely friendship, of course, and he often joins her on her near-nightly visits to The Glass Ceiling - Barley often tips them off to suspicious activity in the city where they reside!

Ell is a total sweetheart. He's very friendly and instantly likeable for most people. He's quite intense and passionate: an all-or-nothing type! He gets flustered easily but works well under real pressure: it's this unexpected skill that impresses Billie. He cares a lot about his family and friends and makes it a mission to help them if needed.

His younger brother disappeared when they were very young, and he chose to join the law enforcement department because of this. Billie initially rejects Ell: she's a workaholic and insists that he call her only by her surname at first. As she is very closed off, she will actually be able to learn a lot from Ell's positive outlook despite all odds.

Also, he really likes jazz music from the 60s which he always encourages Barley to play on the evenings they visit him at work. He'll probably end up falling for Barley, which will annoy Billie endlessly as she won't want him distracted from his detective work.
