I often check through items before I go to the fragmentizer in case I need to add it to my wardrobe, collection, or feed my Gourmand pet. However, what I find is that I often see items that are already in my collection, wardrobe or fed to my Gourmand pet, so I exit out and keep it in mind to fragment later.
Going to the fragmentizer screen I often find myself getting lost in the sea of icons and can't recall what items I've already checked and what haven't. So I have to go back and check (or open multiple account search tabs which also takes a lot of time to open for each item I'm checking, read it and close). Sometimes, because it's so time consuming, I just give up altogether and quick stock stuff into my junk gallery for later, but I end up forgetting. And it builds up over time. The main reason I do this is because the used items and unused items are mixed up in my inventory as I go about my daily tasks on Subeta, it becomes hard to sort and check them, and I don't want to accidentally frag items that I still need to use.
It would be great to see an extra option added to the item screen where we can directly fragment it (or add it to a queue for the fragmentizer when we visit it) so that it's more efficient/productive, and we don't have to go back and forth to check if the item has already been used as intended.
Something like this for example :D

Another idea is perhaps we can add a line of text underneath the item in the fragmentizer if it's already in our wardrobe, collection or fed to a pet, so we can select only the items we want to fragment in that screen.
As an example:
But I imagine this may be more resource intensive on the server than the other option as it might require pre-loading some info from the database in the background. But maybe it's not? I have no idea but I guess it could be worth finding out.
Would love to hear if anyone else have thoughts around this :) I would like to frag more often and I'm sure there are ways to make the process more efficient.
After all, the more that we can frag, the more junk we can collective remove from the database ;)

I read somewhere that the item menu is getting reworked, so maybe this is something that can be added too?
I see the potential of it being an item option. However, I don't think it would work on the actual fragmentizer. It is essentially running multiple account searches at one time from my understanding.
More efficient, sure. Although I do think you use a little bit of lore if you add quick links for everything. I'm not necessarily against adding a link on the inventory page, but I do wonder where you stop with suggestions like this - Why can't you turn in mage amulet from your inventory? and should you be able to? I'm definitely for making it easier to remove items from the economy though.
As far as more information to the frag page, I'm with Permanent. High risk for poor performance. The items hovers have account search links, which are pretty helpful already.
Yeah, I'm not sure I can get behind this one - I'd suggest you get better at inventory management before implementing this, tbh? Even if you just make a "Junk to be Fragged" section in your vault and throw things in there as you find you don't need them. ; v;
I can see the utility of this. It also makes it obvious which items are fraggable and which aren't, like currencies etc.
The only question I have is how to get/give the results of fragging? If you got one crystal for one item, then sure, but different rarities give different amount of crystals.
