Where you at, FMA fans?? 15th Anniversary came, Live Action Film coming out in Japan in December, Art Exhibitions, Cafe crossovers, merchandise, stuff's still happening!

This series is a classic! Let's talk about it! Favorite characters, moments, themes, ships, anything. (re)reading the manga? the anime? which one? there's 2 different series after all, the 2003 anime and the 2011 anime. The movies? anything goes!

Personally I love both '03 and Brotherhood almost equally, both have their goods and bads. It's a shame 2003 has since been kinda thrown to the wayside, it was very different from 'canon' but it explored some really interesting territory with the characters and themes. I still fondly remember it being some of the first anime I watched on TV. I love too many characters but mostly the Elrics, Winry, Ling and Greed. I can talk for hours about this, lol. If anyone's interested, I post and reblog tons of FMA stuff on my tumblr: http://jeminy3.tumblr.com/tagged/fma

I loved FMA when I first saw it! I really need to do a rewatch, it's been forever. I don't think I even saw Brotherhood yet... I just stuck with '03. I'd love to see both.

I'm super into merchandise for the most part, so I'm really excited over the Nendoroids that just came out for Ed and Al. I'm hoping we'll get some sort of articulated figure announced soon, I'd be all over it!!

Anyway, your favorites are mine, too, for the most part. I also loved Roy and Riza! Their dynamic was super good. Really, there wasn't a "bad" set of characters in the bunch, in my opinion.

yes! love the new figurines and statues coming out too! it's been a great year for FMA honestly, I got into it just in time lol. GOD yeah how could I leave out Roy and Riza... like I said, I love TOO many characters, because almost every single character in this series is great in some way. it's wonderful. Arakawa's an amazing artist/writer. Even the minor/background characters are great in both series. like Russell and Fletcher from 03, Dr. Knox and the chimera guys in Brotherhood... too many!

I enjoyed FMA when it was first shown to me. I have not watched Brotherhood because I couldn't get into it, but i have the '03 and have read most of the manga. Took a while, but got to it after maybe a year of watching FMA (took a while).

I enjoy way too may of the characters. xD They are all great with their own flaws, ambitions and great character development. :) Loved Ed, Al, and Winry. But also enjoyed Roy and Riza. It was just how they were developed over the series that made it better.

"Hercules, huh?" Percy frowned. "That guy was like the Starbucks of Ancient Greece. Everywhere you turn--there he is."

Yeah. Each character has a role that you find interesting and connect to. Best way to make memorable characters. :) Now that was super cool! It actually looks really good.

YO I LOVE FMA! Sadly I'm a Brotherhood-fanatic, don't like the 03' anime. hehe
