I need some help. I have been looking online for a gaming computer/laptop and I can't find a good system or console anywhere on the internet, so I worrying if an here has bought something like this before. If I could could gets some recommend websites, brands, or models that would be really helpful.
Games, also I made a steam account and if any one could recommend some adventure or horror games that would also be nice. Thank you.
I think this might be better suited to the Games & MMOs subforum, so I'm gonna move it on over. :)

I'm particularly fond of MSI laptops(but they are quite pricey).
Edit: Whoops, I didn't realize this was an old thread.Mods please, don't ban me.:( It was an accident.

We wouldn't ban you for necro'ing an old thread. ;) But this is within the 3-month limit, so it's not even a necro. You're fine! :)
OP, Amazon has a great gaming laptop by ASUS that is worth looking into. Bear in mind that machines made specifically for gaming will have better performance, but a shorter life expectancy. But the ASUS model is a solid choice if you're looking for a good gaming experience on a laptop.
I built mine. I will link what I just tossed together. Please note I used the CPU Cooler, and Bluray drive from my old system so those are not on the list https://secure.newegg.com/Wishlist/PublicWishlistDetail?ID=3720998
Some parts you also wont need like the adapter for mounting my card reader, etc
Thank you
Thank you and thanks for the link
I have a do-not-buy suggestion: don't buy Alienware. They are seriously overpriced for what they are. They're not bad, but there's no point in buying an okay computer for a ton of money when you can build a fantastic computer for the same amount.
Ditto on building your own pc.
@-HyperBlossom- What's your price range?
Also, game-wise, are you into survival horror? If so, Outlast, Amnesia: The Dark Descent, Penumbra, and Dead Space may be up your alley. If you're more into adventure games or psychological horror, Fran Bow, SOMA, and What Remains of Edith Finch might be good.

yeah if you can list a price range off Im sure we can spec out a good system for you
and I don't really have a price range, but I said I would never spend over $5,000.
Thank you for telling me about Alienware because I was think about buying me this one: https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9SIADYY6KX4694&ignorebbr=1&nm_mc=KNC-GoogleMKP-PC&cm_mmc=KNC-GoogleMKP-PC-_-pla-_-Gaming+Laptops-_-9SIADYY6KX4694&gclid=CjwKCAiA-KzSBRAnEiwAkmQ151ZlcVeqcgkfANwMwxptPaddOY0Ib83xbTzPQ-HXT9-mBRk2IpBEDRoCkIgQAvD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds but if I can make me a better laptop/computer with that money then I'm fine. Thank you, also I am a huge fan Amnesia! I love all the games and the custom stories.
@-HyperBlossom- Yeah, trust me, you'd be a lot better off making your pc/laptop or looking at different brands. They're not bad, they're just nowhere near good enough to justify prices like that. Also, Alienware quality control is kind of iffy, especially when it comes to their laptops.
Eluktronics, Acer Predator, and Gigabyte in particular make consistently good quality computers.
Glad you like Amnesia! They've got such a great custom story community. SOMA and the Penumbra series are all made by the same company as Amnesia, so you'll probably really like those, too.

i second the recommendation on ASUS. and from what i've heard, alienware hasn't been worth the price since dell bought them out. anymore it's just paying for a name. i've also heard positive things about acer, but i don't have any frame personal reference. when it comes to accessories, i recently splurged on a razer mouse and keyboard, and thus far, they are pretty well worth the price. they both seem sturdy and well-made, and the tactile feedback on this keyboard is absolutely unparalleled. the programmable lights are just icing on the cake. i also have a personal bias, an absolute distrust of wireless accessories, and razer's stuff is corded, and not just flimsy plastic wires that crack and tear, these are covered with a woven fiber type material so they don't kink and form pinched areas. (i swear i'm not being paid by razer, i just really like this stuff.)
Thank you so much for info because a week ago my friend bought a alienware laptop and it broke or quit when he try to download a game from Steam. The Razer items are very cool and I was thinking about buying a laptop, but I don't know with one yet. I'm still voting on if I should make one by scratch or buy a laptop. Love your HA by the way ❤
