So I'm not sure anyone else has this problem, but I have a TERRIBLE memory, and trying to keep track of what items are ALREADY in my pet treasures is hard for any of my pets with over 50 items in them.

I checked through for other TC Suggestions and didn't see anything quite the same as this one, so I apologize if I missed anything already suggesting this BUT here is my pretty basic:

An indication similar to the minion zoo one on items 'you already have (number) there'

It wouldn't prevent users who wanted multiples of one item in a TC from putting it there (I know you guys are out there, and I don't wanna step on your toes!!), but it WOULD help people who want to avoid duplicates and are having trouble manually keeping track of things. Plus, if you've already mistakenly added two of an item to your pet's treasure, you'd then be able to check it pretty easily (depending on if you have multiples of an item on hand anyways).

Having a way to check on the TC page if you have duplicates being easier than just having to skim the items and hope you can spot dupes on your own might be nice too, but I'm not sure how to figure a solution there at all.

I usually check my pets' TCs to make sure I don't have duplicates, but with that said, I also go through points where I just buy a bunch of items and just mass add them to TCs so, having a way to automatically get rid of duplicate tc items would actually be pretty helpful.

doesn't the account search already do this, though? you just do an account search on an item and it will say "X found in ___'s treasure chest."

In a sense, yeah, but it also takes an extra step. I don't think it would hurt anything, or take away from this feature to have a little indicator for if you're just going to fling an item into a TC and forgot to check, or don't feel like taking that extra step though! ;w;

Having a way to automatically remove duplicates would be amazing and actually even better than an indicator, I like the idea a lot! If I could just smack a button every now and again to hurl all duplicate items back into my inventory I'd be a happy moth tbh

Especially because increasing the items per row on the sort TC page decreases item sizes and makes my eyes go super weird. Gets even worse if I try to scan for duplicates then and I know I'm definitely not the only one with this issue.

ABSOLUTELY I should have mentioned myself too, obviously if it's gonna kill the servers or slow down the site in some way, I will deal with having to do an extra step before throwing stuff in a TC.

That said, yeah that's kinda my issue with manually scanning, tiny items tend to all look similar [especially if your pet has a common colorscheme to a lot of their items....]

YEP. Everything slowly becomes a single colour and many regrets and headaches are had. :'D And zooming in makes the page itself look strange.
