What type of stats do you normally need to beat Roland and get a manifesting weapon?

i didn't record the exact stats i had for beating rouland 10 times but i looked back at my battle log and i beat him on Oct 24, 2014. my pet had these stats on Nov 1, 2014 (old cap 22,000).

HP: 8800 Str: 5800 Def: 4300 Speed: 3100 Intel: 2538

so i guess maybe somewhere around there?

it'd be interesting to see other people's builds too for beating rouland 10 times.

I'm pretty sure when he was first released the biggest pet on the site had about 7K HP, and there were a decent number of MEs released.

I don't think you needed a capped pet to beat him.

yeah i capped my pet on Nov 1 so it wasn't capped yet when i beat him. i'm sure with the right weapons and such (and luck) it's possible to beat him with even lower stats.

Speculation from a few months ago when discussing on the BCT, is that you can get 10 wins from around 16500 or so stats, with the right set.

Do you remember what people were using for sets?

Then probably a TA + GoTF scroll set up.

I might not be able to get easy access to a B-staff, but Cronus blade might be an alternative, but without ice icons its a lot worse than bstaff

I would use the same setup myself, switching out the two godlies for ME and Natasha I think you'd need a dark block for sure

I'm going to shoot to do it super under leveled, so I think the Freeze wand is going to be essential. Bstaff vs ME is something I've been kinda debating between.

He never blocks ice or water.

I figure if I need to take out his healers, and then his main threat would be the 40 or 50 icon wind blasts. Kwand + Staff would take a huge chuck out of his spikiest damage weapon, and one of his 3 scrolls. While doing 45 ice icons per turn. If I really wanted to get fancy, I should probably try to track down a maelstorm scroll as well.

VS ME + Kwand would block a good chunk of 2/3rds of his scrolls but sacrifice the ice icons that Staff has. Fortunately I have 2 MEs so getting one won't be a problem last second :P

probably bstaff + trident. don't remember if I had my natasha yet, I might have and used that. I think he can be frozen which makes it a lot easier

I got 3 wins with my pet last year when he was a high T11. I expect to get 10 wins this year with my current stats. I used ME and Natasha. I started with pbow but swapped to Natasha for the extra heal. I used all freezing scrolls and then probably skelly scroll when I ran out of freezers. I did take 48 losses for 3 wins, almost 4 wins if that means anything

I'm up to win 6 with Wrath of K + Cronus Blade

Kinda feels like I'm hitting a wall now though.

Nice job! If you're blasting, pay attention to what you blast. Some battles he spammed the raspy shriek like crazy so ME and trident were working really well. I would say swap between cronus, ME and trident/swash, depending on the battle

. How were you fitting in 3 constants, I was using every single weapon every battle.

Okay so I've been trying to work out what weapons I'll need to battle Rouland for a few weeks but I am still no closer to fully understanding it all. I'd be really appreciative of any help offered. Kem's stats are Health: 5363 / 5363 Strength: 5103 Defense: 5100 Speed: 5100 Intelligence: 3245

I can probably bump him up a wee bit but not enough to make any real difference. Scroll advice would be great too. He has an AP of 202.

I think the KWand could be replaced by Natasha or Wrath, I was just approaching it from the bare bones stats possible, even Maniacal essence probably aren't a bad fit.

So Manical Essence (which I actually have) can replace the Kwand? Is that the order to use the weapons in? Did you use any scrolls?

Depending on what I blasted I used the trident or cronus. I was also using my freezing set to freeze him whenever his blessing wasn't active. I didn't need two healers, I barely used the one. I was able to get by with the quill and one gotf

Roughly these stats

health: 7025 strength: 5030 defense: 4011 speed: 4006

how many losses?

I used Tasselled Aegis Scroll and 11 Gift of the Forj Scrolls.
