I was a huge fan of the first Divinity: Original Sin, so when I was told that a sequel had just come out I was super stoked and had to buy it right away! If you're unfamiliar with the franchise, it's an awesome fantasy turn-based strategy RPG that can be quite difficult but is super fun. The story and dialogue are fantastically written, the gameplay is great, and the world is beautiful. There's also a huge array of classes to choose from, and you can also build your own. Also, side quests galore. I'd recommend both games to anyone who's looking for a new RPG to play.

Anyway, in case anyone else is already playing this, can we talk about how awesome it is? Because it's so awesome. And I am addicted. After reaching act 2 I'm pretty sure my set-up is pretty far from optimal (1 ranger/necromancer, 1 survivalist/polymorph (which makes two ranged/huntsman characters so uhh... oops), 1 fighter and 1 enchanter/summoner) because I keep getting my ass beat 8), but I'm still having fun. Also I think I accidentally made Ifan my boyfriend. I ain't even mad. My only real complaint is that a few of the quests are a little buggy, but it's not been anything game breaking. Just kind of irritating now and then. Also I am poor all the time. So poor! I've tried respeccing one of my characters into a thief just so I can pickpocket people and steal their money cuz man, equipment ain't cheap.

I just LOVE this game and all the silly stuff you can do there (turned the bigass voidwoken worm into a chicken!).

My Mainchar is a summoner, the red prince is a...fire Knight I guess? Ifan is a Shadwoblade and Sebille an enchanter. And I was so surprised when the game turned out to be fully voiced. Been playing it for a year and hearing the voices then was really...weird (appearently they're all british).

I love the Irish voices for the dwarves! And my elf, apparently lol. I really love the 'trickster' voice for female characters. The actors are all so talented. I think I need to change the builds of at least one of my characters to include magic. Ifan has some geomancy magic, but a good chunk of that does physical damage. Same with my main character with her necromancy. :s It's getting a little silly when Lohse is the only one who can do magic damage, so she ends up being kind of silly. Either that or I just change her to be, like, an inquisitor or a battlemage or something lol.

I do love turning things into chickens though. :D It's so satisfying. Also, escorting the black cat out of Fort Joy was one hell of a journey but I was so determined. And I haven't used the skill once.
