(Not items priced at 0 sP, though.)

I usually do my quests before updating my shop, and I've noticed that items I have in my shop won't show in shop search at all if the price has dropped enough that my price has been bumped off the page.

This is especially annoying with my Quest Items shop, which isn't a shop I intend to sell things out of, just a shop I have to hold items I know are frequently asked for by some questgivers. Having to go into the shop to remove the item manually defeats the purpose of the item being show at the top of the list in Shop Search, imo, and it's a pain to go through and update the prices every so often when I don't even want to make money on that shop.

Is there any reason for this, or could it be changed?

It isn't that I object to this Suggestion so much that it's weird. You are presuming that prices here only ever go down?

If the price has dropped so much, then buy the item from someone else. This takes the same time as dropping a priced item out of your shop that it just so happens that for this quest you can in fact see. The item that's in your shop to be sold? It will sell because the prices go up and down here in Subeta,. This means in addition to making your quest you will have made a small profit.

Yeah, it would be nice if shop search always displayed that you have an item in your shop. I don't always have a GA to autoprice, so sometimes things get bumped down, but I'd still prefer to hand in an item I already have rather than buy a new one.

This would be really nice. I had a shop with some kind of holiday items in it last year, priced high enough that they weren't likely to sell before I could use them but they were priced so high that I couldn't see my own shop and eventually I gave up. I'm not sure if it's doable but I'd really like this to happen if possible

I would definitely like this as well.

However I don't see it happening since it would be too server intensive to search every shop every time. I'm assuming the way it works now is that it price checks only until it reaches the number of entries for "one Page", however many that is. It might even slow down shop search enough to be a hassle while questing.

No offense, boo, but did you read my post all the way through, or did you stop at the second paragraph? Take the Battle Spork, for instance. I have two in my shop waiting for when Maleria wants one. If I want to have it on the shop search, I need to price it at 1900. Every single listing in search is 1900. Why would I want that measly 1900 sp? I got the sporks for free from BQs; the only reason I'm not fragging them is I know some questgivers ask for weapons.

However, has a good point. I didn't consider that ; v; it just feels like a waste - even outside of my quest items shop, I bought items that I later realized I had in stock in one of my shops, just at too high of a price to show up in shop search.

eta: I sound salty, but I'm not really. Late, sorry, and very tired.

Yeah, I'm terrible about keeping my shop prices up to date, even with GA access to autopricer, I just don't do it. But also, I don't really want to sell my stuff, I want to use it.

Perhaps another solution would be for the search to show if you have it in your vault, and if so, give you the option to remove one? I know this is something I've long wished for.

Is there a reason you don't want it to show unpriced items? That's mainly what I'd want it for, honestly. If it doesn't show items in my shop because its price is too high/it's further down in the list, I haven't noticed it yet.

It could be implemented as what it already searches for, plus your shops, rather than going through all the shops to find your shops. Since you can only have up to four shops, I believe, it would only be a tiny bit harder on the servers.

I don't know much about programming, but if its possible that does sound like a valid solution :).
