Ok this is a thread for those hunters and RIDERS! I'm hooked in the new 3ds game it's so nice! But I also love a lot of the oldies. Anyone around that are into it?

I got it afew days ago and hooked on it as well, x_x lost sleep with my progress.

Granted I got the DLC eggs from preordering and imported two of the Amiibos which helped with speeding threw the game some...until the Volcano bosses forced me to grind x_x

ARGH I know that guy is a real ball buster. I just passed him a few days ago and I've also been grinding like mad ahah. I've lost so much sleep on it but honestly it's what monster Hunter needed. I always wanted them as companions lol!

I find Rathians eat through them especially the pink and normal ones you can get before the volcano boss. The main player Raphy isn't all that tough ahh. Like his kinship atyack is strong! But my green Rathian kicked his ass. Definately need a lvl 22 monstie. XD

But there's some cool monsters in there! And that rare magma tigrex! Ahh.

I resorted to my Amiibo Quatropeco (typo) that I pretty much had with me from the start. My Green Rath got hammered so I swaped him for my Diablos and Urgadan (typo...again) only to not need them.

--; Now the Great Jaggi are getting their revenge for all those years of beating them in 4U and Gen so may grind after getting the needed feathers for the story to avoid them tag teaming on my Rider.

I love the diablos! Their big horns awee. I have the black one and I don't use him much either, just really only on my party for back up ahha.

I hate the jaggi LOL! But at least it's mad exp! What ones are you hunting for in the game? I can't wait till I have my Azure Rathian. That'll be my tank. I'm going to raid nests until I have a gold background hatchking thays extra heavy. It may take a while. But I'm so friken determined.

Also! Did you have trouble obtaining a tigrex too? While I was in the icelands I noticed you could get them. And the damn thing will spawn , bit it'll despawn!!! I spent 2 hours litterally game time crunching through battles hunting for one until I had 2. I still don't have the black one. But I just wanted a good tigrex. I haven't had that type of hard in a long while but it felt good to get it fianlly. :/

I waited until I had the subquest and then went after him and managed to not kill him too quick after paintballing him, then it was just following him to his den to get the egg.

The rare nests in the Volcano have the black/Brute Tigrex, I got mine that way.

It was the Great Jaggi, they show in groups of two and gang up on my Rider and tend to kill me before I can get a heal off due to their speed, granted I don't need to kill them yet or even go where they were at this part of the main story so I may finish the subs for gold to get better armor and grind in the volcano some before I take them again. I could probably handle them fine if it wasn't for them wanting to tag team on my Rider rather then focus on my monstie or just divide their attention between us.

Edit: I didn't realize what you ment on what I was hunting x_x, I was killing Gawga or whatever the big peaceful birds are called for the story quest
