Well, according to Pottermore, I'm a Slytherin, but before there were official tests, I always pegged myself as a Ravenclaw. Probably a hybrid. And I'm dating a Hufflepuff, so that's an interesting mix. I've been slowly rereading the books, especially now that there are illustrated editions of the first few that I can borrow from the library.

Did you take the patronus test? Even before I always fancied mine being a hound of some sort, but in there I get Griffin and blood hound? Or another was the long legged hound I forgot it's name. Once I got a raven or was it a crow? Ahh.

Yes, I took the patronus test. I got a blackbird, and I looked up the symbolism for those and thought it fit really nicely.

I've read the illustrated editions of the first two. The third illustrated one comes out in October of this year, so soon. There's a sneak peek of that one here. They're really lovely and well worth checking out.

I haven't seen all the movies. I started getting frustrated with how much was being left out, and while I understand it due to the nature of film and time constraints, it was irritating me too much to go on. :) I'll just reread the books, thanks very much.

I'm only a casual HP fan (have only watched the movies, haven't read the books because I'm a heathen like that) but I'm a proud Ravenclaw and it's official, according to Pottermore. I knew that's where I'd fit in best so I'm glad that's how I got sorted.

My patronus is apparently a Sphinx Cat. I'm not sure what that means, and I always considered myself more of a dog person, but it's neat. I'll take it. Even if birds and cats don't traditionally get along...seems like there might be some conflict there? If so, that honestly might explain some things.

Always thought i was Gryffindor...and i'm sure most people did upon reading the books the first time...but Pottermore sorted me into Ravenclaw and my brain just went.." oh...oh well duh."
