My apologies if this isn't the right place for this but I figured battlers would be able to answer this question best: How much should I pay for a Hydragellos Maniacal Core in sp or csc? i know the core was selling for about 5-600m last year but there's an extra 186 of these beauties onsite and I've been shafted with a massive item deflation before :/

EDIT: Would it be easier if I simply tried to find a Maniacal Essence and buy that instead of looking for the Gelatin Concoction too? XD (i was too busy dealing with RL to battle the big guy much myself ;_; )

Here's a relevant Item Pricing thread: Hydragellos Maniacal Core Someone was asking for 450m earlier today. I'm not sure if it is the one you are purchasing or if it was a different user, but it seems a lot of the cores are intended to be made into Maniacal Essences so make of that what you will.

Maniacal Essences tend to go for 600* million last I checked? It should be cheaper to buy the ME itself because the concoctions are very expensive since they are tied to an achievement and limited to one per user.

[edit]I found two more PC threads for you on the Concoction and it appears they aren't as expensive as I thought: PC on gelatin concoction and PC - Gelatin Concoction?. It is possible that with so many cores out now, their price will go up. I would ask around and see what prices people are looking for the Core, Concoction, and ME. I still think buying an ME outright would be cheaper, so definitely send some mails and see how low the sellers are willing to go.

I would wait a while I'm pretty sure the number of cores almost doubled. I wouldn't pay more than BN 200 mil a cd I would still be paranoid that I would be losing sp.

I literally sold a gelatin concoction for 350m last week, and the core for 450m yesterday. So that means the ME is like 800m

However, I've seen plenty of cores in trades for around 3-400m since yesterday. I don't think you'll see one buyable, not for a few years atleast.

Personally, the longer you wait the more likely it is to go back up in price, thats just my two cents.

It would probably be easier to buy the ME instead of trying to find a GC at a fair price. In the last year I've sold three, 2 last year for 200m and 250m, then the one last week for 350m

I was kinda surprised to see that the GC wasn't a secondary prize this time around.

I have won 3 cores while on subeta, I can only ever win 1 gelatin concoction.

I theoretically have uses for 2 GCs and 2 cores.

The number of extra cores compared to the number of GCs is going to keep going up overtime. It makes 100% sense that the GCs would go up in price overtime while the cores will go down overtime.

Also just because you sold someone for one price doesn't make it the price. I think you way undersold your GC.
