I never really pay attention to the scratchcards when I buy them or win them at the bath house, but I recently started, and while I understand that not every card should be a winner, it seems like the odds of winning could possibly be tweaked. (Also you'll see from the examples I apparently have the worst damn luck.)

So, ok. My personal main issue is it seems as though there are too many prizes on a single card, with no clear indication which one is the winner. So the first suggestion is to show the card afterwards to see which prize was the winning prize. Now, IDK if some are generated to never win so that's why there's so many prizes up for grabs, but I feel like this could potentially change, at least for some cards.
I also think we could use the type of card to tweak the prizes. For example, Shinwa is pretty generous and nice, the chance of winning a prize from her card would be higher, though I would keep her prizes low. So like 10k, 15k, perhaps a chance for a stat booster (low), maybe some other items to win that relate to her, or even some scratchcard exclusives.
Now Maleria would be stingy and she'd never let you win. But, if you did, I think her prize should be higher, since the chance is lower. (Same with Saggi). So perhaps, 50k, 100k, something rare or exclusive to them, or a mega prize like a sack of coins with the potential to go up to 500k. (I'm just pulling rando numbers here.)
I also think all the prizes should be upped slightly, because what are we gonna do with 1,000 sp? (the same could be said about the finding money random event. 415 sp, while nice, isn't gonna go very far haha.)
If you wanted to bring in more characters, you could make them have themes: Pete-chance of rare food. Alexander-chance for a rare book. Jim-chance for high stat boost, etc. They could all be divided into two or three categories -a sort of "good", "neutral", "evil" thing- and their payouts and rewards would reflect the type of character they are.
Examples that should vary from card to card:
"Good": very generous, wins more often. 6 circles with the same item, 3 that are blank. (if you generate an item exclusive card, either 3 items, 3 exclusive items, 3 blanks, or 6 same item, 3 exclusive item.)
Neutral: can go either way. Rewards slightly more. 3 circles with one item, 3 circles with another item, and three circles that are blank. (generate a special item card- no blanks, or, 4 special item chance, 6 other item.)
Evil: very stingy but rewards are higher. 6 circles that are blank, 3 circles with the same item. (generate special item card, 5 blank, 4 special item.)
Most will fall into the standard neutral category. Obviously staff would tweak as fit. Special item or high win cards would have to be rare, like 1/1000 or some high number that reflects the stats of cards sold/given out. There also should be "duds" where you just don't win anything in all categories to keep them from basically being a guaranteed winner.
Anyways, thoughts? Suggestions to add?
all of the cards are totally worthwhile to scratch already. You have been unlucky.
If you see multiple images on a card, all of those prizes are possible. Not all cards have all possible images. Therefore, there is nothing to clarify. Your odds of getting a particular prize do vary by card, and this is not specified in any official way by Subeta nor are they likely to do so.
Shinwa is one of the worst cards there is, so Good-ness has nothing to do with it.
I don't see a reason for a revamp, though I like your idea very much but the the game is ok as it is in my opinion..
The 1k prize is there because 1k is the price of a card, IRL the most common prize is the same price that the card costs, it's purpose is to make you buy a new card with this money and try your luck again.. so I don't think this needs to change here. - could be nice if we would get a message like "would you like to buy a new card or to take the money?" when you win 1k
My only problem with the cards is that when you scratch more than 3+ times of a prize or when you scratch 2 type of prizes, you get one prize.. you should get extra of 1 prize or the 2 prizes..
I think the revamp would be nice to have. The current payout isn't bad, however unlike the other site, the cards are so similar that there isn't really a lot of excitement from buying a particular one unless you get Golden Glory (is that still possible?)
I also think the rare scratchcards should at least have better prizes, and the stat prizes include intel from the mix. I still don't know why Phoenix lost its jackpot space at one point in time.
