Saw a post on the main forum regarding the ridiculous amount of wizard tokens people have.

Perhaps an option to buy a pet slot for a bunch of tokens (like 50k+) would be good? no idea what a good amount would be. could be tiered like the MC or could be one off. :)

I dunno how feasible it actually is, but I can tell you I would QUITE HAPPILY pay wiz tokens for a pet slot.

... Knowing us pet hags? 50k+ tokens for a petslot would hyperinflate tokens in no time flat. Especially if there was more than one slot available for purchase. There's a limited amount of tokens you can get per day if you don't go poking around user shops. This would also bounce into inflating potions, anything that restocks in the token shop, as well as BHH items.

I'm going to have to hard pass. You basically get tokens for free. So even if they made the slots a ridiculous amount of tokens, you'd still be getting the slot for free.

I've thought of this several times myself. And it really is the only thing that would even have me consider parting with any of my wizard tokens. The reason I haven't suggested this myself is because people are bound to disagree, however I fullheartedly support this idea.

While tokens may inflate, the thing is that people have at least 250 tokens guaranteed to them daily granted they do all their wizard quests in a timely manner. Considering there's plenty of users with over 15k tokens, there really isn't a lot of incentive to spend them. Personally, carnival games nor vending interest me. Half the time I'm not interested in token shop restocks either, and I can't be bothered to stalk for the BHH items which already are pricey as it is. And the reason these items are so expensive is because of the nature of the shop, not the availability of tokens.

The only thing I'm opposed to is the price of a token pet slot starting out at 50k tokens. I'd much rather see the price gradually scale up, like in the MC center, perhaps starting out at 10k tokens (I know it's low, just an example), 20k, 30k, etc.

Editing to add: MC slots are free too with SP being poured into the system all the time. So I don't see the logic in no token slots because those are free?

I... I am all for more pet slots. I don't think this would happen, but I would support it. Though I think the price should be a bit lower (but scale up !) to go with the MC prices... Although I say the conversion should be lower because they will inflate and very quickly be higher in price. What did the MC ones start out as ? 20m ? 1k tokens being 1.5m right now, that would be 13.3k tokens... I say start off with 5-10k max; remember that the price will shoot up and quickly.

I like the idea too. i'm not sure how willing would staff be to implement this however. maybe it would be sold like a pet slot totem that is not tradeable.. either in BHH or in Token Shop..? i don't see much of a problem with the prices of the tokens going up though: just like sP, tokens are fairly easy to come by. if anything, cash shop points would go up in price if more people will consider buying gold accounts for more Wiz quests per day, for more tokens. and when the Wizard is featured quest of the weekend, we get almost double the amount of tokens. in any case, the price for this pet slot should be fairly high - not lower than 10k wiz tokens, no matter if it's just a one time purchase or if the price increases with each purchase.

Hmn, I'd be all for it? As long as it's permanently available and each user can only purchase one slot that way. Any more than one would probably permanently inflate token prices.

Another option could be putting it in the quest shop for a ridiculously high amount of quest points.

I like the idea, but it'd have to be some ridiculously high number (30k+ at least) and probably make it limited in number so it doesn't inflate tokens too badly.

The Quest Point for pet slot idea is pretty nice too, especially since it's a non-transferable currency!

WT are pretty much free, NPC Allard gives out a lot of sP compared to the cost of the items he asks for. Don't have a use for them? Just like any quest reward you don't particularly want. Sell them.

Sell all your WIzard Tokens for sP, use sP to buy CSC, buy petslot.

idk, I think wizard tokens do need more uses, but I feel like the questathon has spoiled us with pet slots. personally, pet slots do not appeal to me in the slightest.

I'd quest for days to get enough tokens but... wouldnt it be too easy?And if it is a ridic amount like, let's say, 100k tokens, wouldn't be better to sell said tokens and buy MC slots? This of course for ppl that still have MC slots to buy.

The TS hasn't restocked for 3 weeks, plus there aren't any long term stocked items and Amber's on vacation. So, the hoards are just going to stockpile until Subeta catches up. Usually they are good at price controlling TS items, but this year it's been finicky. Reborn potions are nearly 50m, and the last time they were stocked was during Fireside D:

I don't have anything against it personally, but I definitely wouldn't buy a pet slot with them. I do wish there were some long-term stocked items though, or other uses for them in general, I'm just not sure what would be appealing enough. As it is, I have 62k of them stockpiled even after selling off 10k not too long ago.

As a one time deal, I am ok with this, but not for multiple slots.

Personally I'm not too into pet slots (I have like at least 12 free ones), just thought that people would like having a use for wizard tokens.

It's not really free, it still takes a crapton of time to build up like 50k of wizard tokens. Is that not the same as doing anything else for a crapload of time to get the sP/CSC to buy a petslot?

Maybe wizard tokens DO need to inflate. I personally have an abundance of like 10k tokens and I barely do wizard quests. I literally do shit all with them except for zap and buy the occasional token shop item for less then 1k tokens. People will start to sell their hoards and maybe wizard tokens/token shop items will actually be worth something.

As for "you can just buy a MC slot", sure, but it's just an alternative to the many other ways of getting a pet slot.

I don't think people should be able to buy a tradeable pet token, just let it be a single slot for a high price on an account. If people want the slot they'll quest or buy the tokens themselves.

I could maybe get behind it for one slot but if we really need a token sink I'd rather see more TS restocks or the 1-point token back in the Recycle Beast. I don't know that it would help drop a lot of people's stashes, but I know I'd throw some tokens at that.

I think the only place that really can fit is the RB.. it's a long and a hard work and you can get it without CSC so it can be a nice goal to those who prefer not to buy CS

Like Samaritan said you can sell your tokens to earn enough sP to buy MC ones or to then convert to CSC to buy more Cash Shop ones. It seems kind of redundant.
