All right, so, I only have one battle pet, Khimeros. But I have pets with exp attached to them that I don't use for battle, but I would like Khimeros to have these points so I can make him stronger, since as I said, I only have one battle pet. I'm sure there are other practical applications of this, but my brain is too fried to come up with them.
Yay or nay?
This would cause people to make a bunch of weak pets, fight lower challengers, transfer the exp to their main pet, and abandon the small pets. I don't think this kind of exp farming would be good
i think this a pretty neat idea! o: def support~
maybe if it's too op or something it could be made into a ga perk?
[edit] asdfghjkl totally didn't think about it at first but is right, it would lead to a lot of farming and abandoning pets
I see what you mean... but perhaps the weaker pet's stats gets lowered every time you transfer exp? An added risk like that will usually keep people from doing it over and over. I mean, you have to put SOME effort into training the pets before they're even remotely ready to take on stronger challengers, which gives out more exp. Which is resources that the majority of users who don't battle seriously usually don't have.
if people are just going to abandon the weaker pet, that wouldn't be a risk that would prevent this from happening.
or maybe look at this from the other end: if you have a t13 pet and you keep it one stat under the cap, you can still gain exp. so you could do all the bqs and opponents with your strongest pet and transfer them into the lower pet. even if there was a chance your t13 pet dropped a few stats, those stats can easily be trained back.
I don't know, I can see why you'd want this but I don't think it's something that'd be worth it
OHHHH, okay, I see what you mean now. c: But I think I'll keep this topic open on the chance someone has an idea to balance this out.
We could make it cost sP to do it. X amount of sP per exp. but at some point it's probably just better to buy boosters
