What are good weapons for me to use at this level especially against Hydragellos?

I don't want to break my bank buying but I know I need better than what I'm using and am wondering if I have something tucked away in a gallery that might be better pulled out to use in battle that I've just forgotten about. lol

Some of the "better" weapons I've got in my Armory right now are:

The key to the hydragellos, and all boss battles for that matter, is doing the maximum amount of damage so you will want hard hitting weapons. Survival doesn't matter as he cannot be killed and you will die no matter what. You will want weapons that deal a lot of icons. Unfortunately, weapons like that are very expensive. You can pick up the paintbrush blades at the very least, I think they are still on the cheaper side. You will want to mod your weapons with singed baguettes that do unblockabke curse damage or crit strike tears that have the chance to double your damage. Some people prefer to full block or freeze per turn to get more damage in per battle. However, you can also just battle quickly and rack up losses to do the equivalent amount of damage over more losses but at a faster rate.
