Where can we check our individual progress while battling this monster?

There is currently no official damage counter available on site. We keep track of our damage by recording total damage for 10-20 battles then get the average damage per battle. Then we divide 5 mil by that number and we'll get the number of battles that need to be done. I hope that helps :)

Thanks for trying to help. Have done many battles but not counted my damage which seems to be getting less and I've never recorded damage done.

You can record your damage dealt anytime. Usually you'll deal more damage over time since you'll form a rhythm so recording damage when you're a few tens of battles in would give you a good idea of how you do. Please do let me know if you find anything particularly difficult. I'll try my best to help where I can.

Sorry I'm a little bit confused. Do you need help with calculating average damage and estimating total battles needed for 5 mil damage or set advice? :D If it's the latter it'd be perhaps helpful to know what you've got available in your armory and the maximum you'd expect to invest in upgrades :)

To make it easier I'd like to just start with what I have equipped: Weapons: Intricate Energized Helmet, Core of the Island, Acorn Bomb, Paintbrush Blades, Malerias Cursed Arm Bangle, Extendable Elemental Trident, Reviver Of The Lion and Plague Claw

Spells: Galactic Beatdown, Meteor Storm, Aero Subzero, Diamond Edge, Pyromortar, Holy Deluge, Fiery Death, Shriek of Despair, Assassin, Gale Force and Gelaspell

I'm going to quick quote the advice I gave on another topic here :D

Quote

My general strategy:

Don&;t use clutch healers

Don&;t use pure defensive weapons/ scrolls. Pick anything with some bit of damage on it, which means you can swap out your Energized Helmet for another freezer with some attack. Blessing is disabled so the Helmet isn&;t as good as in regular battles anymore.

Pick weapons that deal the most icons in your tier. I use Subetalodge -- Weapon list to sort out those that deal lots of damage.

Pick weapons with at least 3 mot slots.

Slot singed and crit strike mod crystals on them.

Since you're at T12 and if you haven't got the Cronus Blade or Manifesting Weapon, you can look up T11 options on Subetalodge. That's a great place to start. :D I wouldn't recommend healers and anything without damage icons (except for freezing scrolls). You should do well with Shriek, Gale Force and Gelaspell, though I'd recommend investing in another Shriek and beating General Error 10 times for the Psycho Smasher. Other scrolls can leave your set for the time being. PBB looks good. I'm not sure about the other two attackers. Have you got any other weapons lying around in your armory?

Will work on this for now - seems you've given me plenty to work with for starters.

It'd be most helpful to know what you've got available in your armory and not just what are available in your set, as sometimes weapons that you don't use very often for regular battling can be useful in these kinds of events.

For attackers, you can keep the PBB and use the rift staff. You can use critical strike and singed mod crystals for them because blessing is disabled against the Hydra so other mods with blessing might not be as helpful as they usually are. However if you've got another hard-hitting weapon with 4 mod slots I'd recommend it over the Rift staff.

For freezer, I don't know what you've got besides the Helmet, but I use the Scientist Specs so if you can get one or have got one it can be more helpful than the helmet for these kinds of battles.

Like I said, I wouldn't prioritise using clutch healers. If you've got full blockers such as Shinwas Temple Shard, Rainbow Vortex or Amulet of Neutrality you can put those in your set instead of the Reviver and Core of the Island.

Since we've got 1 week to battle the Hydra, I'd recommend beating General Error now to get the Psycho Smasher scroll, which would save you some cost in getting another freezing scroll. How many APs does your battle pet have?

These are his stats: Level: 3013 Health: 3276 / 3276 Strength: 3288 Defense: 3270 Speed: 3255 Intelligence: 3053 AP: 188

Slot singed and crit strike mod crystals on them. What are singed and crit crystals - haven't seen them called that?

Crit crystals are the . Singed crystals are and the upgraded version which add some extra damage icons to your weapons and have the chance to generate a curse.

Oops sorry somehow I missed your ping. Yes the singed and crit are in 's post. I call them singed and crit for short :D

By the way, in case you haven't got the ping to the New battle UI change thread, you can now see your pet's damage here which updates every 12 hours. However , who made the counter, has some advice here that I think you might want to check out too :D.
