I've had Chandelier for a while now and have always flirted with the idea of making her a Phantom of the Opera fanpet, as my first mental connection to chandeliers is the infamous one from the movie. I made her an angelic celinox, which is crystalline enough to look like a vintage light fixture, but I never did more with the PotO idea than fill her TC with musical instruments.

Recently I've been thinking that a nostalgic manchu would also be a good fit for a PotO fan pet as a reference to the creepy-ass music box. It would be much easier to translate the monkey to a quad-art based page than it would an actual chandelier. Would the name still fit as another nod to the movie if she was a nostalgic manchu? I'm not sold on it, but I have no other immediate ideas for the name and I really don't want it to go to waste.

I think it's a great idea! The chandelier is one of the more iconic items from the movie & play, and the music box is another of the same; so having both name and pet be referential seems like a great way to make a Phantom fanpet! :o

Works as well as anything, I think. shrug
