So I took a look at my current HA and realised I'd never go skateboarding in such a skimpy outfit without proper protective gear. Yes I'm old, and no, I don't like road rash :)

I checked the options available in wardrobe and found out that we have basically one set of functional-looking knee pads: I think some protective gear would be great for sporty/accident prone HAs and nice TC fodder too! Of course, many sports have their own specialized kits, but I think these general ones would fit many different uses (I'm mainly listing things that go with skateboards and rollerblades that are already found on site).

Knee pads Plain ones in different colors: x, x, x; also, cool patterns: x, x, x

Knee gaskets/guards In many colors: x, x, x

Elbow pads Usually available in same colors as knee pads: x, x

Helmets Plain ones for skateboarding/rollerblading etc. (and cycling too - then we just need more bikes to go with them ^^): x, x, x; there are loads of color options and patterns as well.

I don't know a thing about motorcycles and such, but there is a ton of helmet alternatives there, and we already have the wearable sprockets we can use with them.

What do you think? Additions are very welcome!

I support this idea because it makes sense. Can't think of any other items to add, though.

Yes please! I've cobbled together "safety gear" for HAs in the past. Skateboard, rollerblading and bike/motorcycle, and it never quite worked and always annoyed me. Those baby blue knee pads just don't go with anything!

I had added the knee pads to this outfit, but took them off because they clashed so bad. The "helmet" is a aviation gear. Private Outfit This one I again defaulted to an aviation hat for a "helmet" Private Outfit

I support this idea. It sounds like some excellent GoOutside fodder.
