I've been saving up my recycle points for as long as I can remember now, although I only started aggressively building them up quite recently. I'm still quite a while off from the elusive Ametsuchi, and while I kind of have a desire to collect all of the legendary weapons for collection's sake, I have to wonder... is the weapon really worth it, as far as battle is concerned? I know it can also be combined with other legendaries at the lab, but the thought of sinking two in and only getting one back kind of bothers me unless I know it's something I really need/want.

My main battle pet url=https://subeta.net/petinfo.php?petid=449752[/url] is currently T5, but still quite a young T5... and I do plan on bringing others up in the ranks as I'm able to as well.

If anyone has any comment about the ever-elusive Ametsuchi, or any suggestions they'd like to make about my battle set in general, please feel free to let me know... I could use all the help I could get!

Any legendary or even lengadary combo is not worth it as a weapon. At T5 (for legendary) and T7 (for legendary combo) there are much cheaper alternatives that do the job just as well, or sometimes even better. At T7 and beyond healing starts to be increasingly important, and the lack of heal on any legendary or legendary combo makes them obsolete at higher tiers. Pets at T9 and above definitely won't see much use out of them anymore, and the most important thing is it takes relatively short time to advance from T5 to T9, making investments in legendary/ legendary combo quite a waste. For example, for the same amount of sP one spends on one Ametsuchi combo they might be able to afford The Ether or even Ornamented Hook Swords from the MC which is unarguably better and are used by pets at T10 to T13. For collectors though legendary combos might be worth it, but for battlers I'm pretty sure most if not all wouldn't recommend them for battling, especially past T8.

I used the against mechalag, just because I happened to have one laying around. Generally I'd say they're too expensive and not very useful as far as battling goes.

In tier 8 you can pair up the to empower the legendaries, but I forgot whether they gain any healing. In any case, this combination is too expensive to be really worth it.

That's what I was thinking, honestly... it seems to be the general consensus that the legendaries aren't that legendary after all, where battle's concerned. I think it's just a case of me seeing a shiny object and wanting to covet it at that rate, haha. Seems I'd be better off spending those points elsewhere on other things I'd like, and if the time ever comes to where I've exhausted all possibilities in the Recycling Center that interest me, then I'll go after the shiny.

Back when the legendaries first were released they were really desirable because they were one of the best weapons you could get aside from "godlies." There are so many weapons that have been released since then that are much more affordable and suitable options. The combo legendaries still do the most damage for their tier, especially when modded, but the price tag on them is too high for a tier 7 weapon. They are really only good for tiers 7 and 8 so not worth the investment.

I have always found the Legendaries and their combinations super useful. The Ametsuchi is "not worth it"? But Recycle Points can be very cheap, if you hoard the right items. Furthermore it's hard to come up with the sP for 'better weapons' all the same.

It has two mod slots, which can turn it into another weapon entirely. You can then Combine it to a weapon that has four mod slots which makes it like having a weapon and a half. The Sentinel at level 8 does add healing to the combined legendaries I had which made them useful up to tier 10. Also you only need to buy them one at a time instead of one huge swatch, and you can sometimes restock them, while many of the other waponry you need to buy from someone. ''
