This just started today.
I have pets perpetually in training, so when the time is up, I click the "______ is done!" button, then use the back arrow on my browser (Chrome), then sign them up for the next stat they need. Usually this goes down the list in order - Strength, Defense, Health, Speed, Level. But today when I click back, it seems to land on a random selection in the list.
For example, I just did Quinna, who's training Defense atm. When I hit back, instead of being on the Defense option, it was blank. I did the same thing with Knowing, and it ended up back on Level - even though this pet can train Defense, Health and Speed.
I've tried to see if it happens when I use the "back" text option instead of the back browser arrow, and it doesn't seem to. However, this may just be a fluke because it doesn't happen all the time the other way, either. (Also, I'd be very disappointed if I had to use the "back" text option from now on to make the Training page work properly, because I have a lot of pets and it takes a while to scroll.)
The page also seems "jumpy" - as in things jump up or down on the page as it loads. This is atypical for the training page.
Is this happening for others? I hope you all can fix it soon. <3
check out this thread :)
I think it's an issue with chrome. stick to using the "back" link on the page instead of the back button on the browser
Ughhhh. I knew I shouldn't've trusted that Chrome update. Why you betray me like that, Chrome? WHY.
(Also, thanks for the link - I tried to look for an established thread but I didn't see any. Wouldn't even have thought to look in Dismissed Reports for something so new!)
I'm not sure what to do now. Switching browsers will be complicated, and having to scroll for each and every one of my 46 pets will be extra tedious. Well, if someone has a workaround, please contact me. :) Otherwise I'll just be over here, grumbling to myself.
when i put everyone in to training, i click the train your pet button (or the done button) and then push the escape button to stop the page from loading. i repeat as needed, then i let the last one load and set an alert if i'm starting a training session or i just use the back link. it can be a little hit or miss since sometimes i hit the escape button too early and find that the request didn't go through (or i'm too slow and the page loads lmao), but i find it's much faster than letting each page load and going back and forth.
That doesn't seem to be working for me. If I hit ESC, it just stops loading, period.
I used to do something similar as you with the back arrow button. Maybe ESC doesn't work with Chrome?
no, it works in chrome, i just tried it (or at least it did, chrome isn't my default browser so i don't think i've updated it in a while). i hit the escape button so that i stay on the main training page and can click through a whole series of pets; stopping the page from loading the "set an alert" page or "x pet gained y stat, click to back to training" page is the whole point of using the escape key
Okay, I think I see what you're saying. So not doing them one at a time, but doing multiples at the same time. (I used to do that back when the site was really slow.) This might actually work, if I can get the hang of it. Thanks for the tip!
sorry, i wasn't very clear, but yeah, pretty much exactly like when the site was slow and you could click a whole bunch of buttons at once haha
i do a row of pets or two at a time, but you could probably do the whole page at a time once you get used to it, and tbh with chrome i pushed escape right after i clicked the button and it was fine. it's safari i have to time the page load with lmao. hope it helps!
Sometimes what I do is hold down the Control key and click the Submit button on the forms. Then, it opens the submission form in a new page, you can just close that and move on to the next button. Not super ideal but... it's faster than reloading every single time.

Now that I'm getting the hang of it, I really like this! It is so much faster than doing them individually, I'm always surprised when I realize I've already come to the bottom of the list!
Thanks! I'll keep that in mind if the ESC option stops working for me. :)
