So, it used to be that when I purchased an item from a main shop it would take me to a page telling me that I purchased it. If I refreshed too early it would lead to the "You can only buy an item every 5 seconds" page with experiment , but if I waited the five seconds before refreshing it would simply refresh the purchase page and place another copy of the item in my inventory or tell me that the item was sold out.
Now when I refresh the page it takes me back to the main shop's storefront instead.
Is anyone else having this problem? Is this a new feature or a bug? I hope it's not a new feature because it's frankly pretty annoying, and making restocking difficult (although, maybe that's the point?)
i restocked a bunch from the philosopher's store on and off this afternoon and haven't had any trouble refreshing on a "purchased x" page and buying multiple tokens or whatever that way. it's not a unique url though, so i get booted back to the main page if i hit enter on the address bar instead of using keyboard commands or the actual refresh button.
iirc i also got booted back to the shop's main page while questing if i closed the tab before the sale processed and tried to reopen that page, but i haven't run into that in a while. i've learned to be patient while questing, i guess, p:
Hm, that's strange. I was doing it the same way I always have (press browser refresh button, press space to confirm pop-up) but even pressing F5 + space seems to take me back to the storefront. Maybe it's another chrome issue. I'll have to try it out on another browser or something.
i think it is a chrome issue, and it's a weird one. i use safari, so i opened chrome and firefox just to be nosy... firefox isn't giving me any problems and neither was chrome initially, but after i reopened chrome, it stopped letting me refresh on "purchased x" pages. the pop-up comes up, closes without any response from me, and then if i try to reload the page, it boots me back to the shop's main page without buying anything. weird o:
I didn't have this problem until I read this post. >.< It's awful. Using the back button now (sometimes?) brings you back to the previous page rather than a refreshed version of the shopfront too, which is beyond unhelpful.
Thanks a lot, Chrome.
I've got a Chromebox and restocking is working properly for me.
I'm getting this, too. I had the same thing happen a couple of weeks ago, but it only lasted a day, so hopefully this one is temporary, too.
It does seem to be yet another Chrome issue. Oh, Chrome, why do you hate Subeta so? Hopefully, it doesn't last too long or else I might just need to switch to Firefox (for Subeta at least).
I have this issue too, also on Chrome. :/ chrome whyyy
I had this problem just now with Chrome, but once I updated to the newest version (Version 60.0.3112.101 (Official Build) (64-bit)), the problem seemed to go away, and refreshing meant I could buy another of the same item again.

It's funny because that was the first thing that I tried. I was like: "Chrome's having issues, maybe it needs to update?" and I checked, and it did, but the problem didn't go away. So I tried CCleaner to make sure that Chrome didn't leave behind any trash from the previous version, and then I restarted the computer. None of this actually helped.
However, it seems to have resolved itself now (24 hours later).
