I pinged you because I thought you might like some names ;)

I would love to adopt Eleonor. If you change your mind and decide to keep her, I understand. But just in case you don't, here are my thoughts:

When I was a kid, I used to watch a movie called The Chipmunk Adventure. It was a musical that featured both the Chipmunks and the Chipettes in a race around the world. At one point, the Chipettes are in the Middle East, being held captive by a young prince who wants to make Brittany his bride when they are both older. As a gift, he gives her a little baby penguin.

When the trio finally escape the prince's clutches, Brittany's youngest sister, Eleanor, mysteriously runs back into the palace and returns with a cooler. Her sisters assume she just wanted some food, but later they discover that Eleanor had rescued the penguin, and they sing a really cute song about mothers. Then they risk their lives to bring the penguin home to the South Pole and go on their merry way.

The movie, according to today's standards, is kind of hokey and the animation is way out of date (it was released in 1987). But it's a movie that holds special nostalgic meaning for me. I have long wanted to create a cybill and name it Eleanor, but every variation of the name I could think of was taken. That is, until this post.

If chosen to adopt, I would change Eleonor into a sweetheart cybill and then do an overlay to change the coloring a bit (if you watch the clip, you'll see the penguin is white). I may do a name swap to give Eleonor an October birthday, but that's if and only if I find an October 13th whose name I don't like, since that's the only date in my collection of birthdays I'm still missing.

Feel free to take a look at my pets. I try to treat them equally, but I've gotten them all at different times so their training and such is at different levels. Most of the time their stories get stuck in my head and stay there, but you can see with Coax and Heidy that I've started to make some effort in putting their stories on their pages. (Both Coax's and Heidy's stories aren't finished.) It's a continual work in progress for all of them. :)

I know Poetry already put in a nice app, but I'll just show my interest in Eleonor as well, you never know. :) I can't give you exact plans, other than I'm working towards getting one of each species as a pet, so she'll be turned into a different species should she end up with me. I have a couple finished pets, a couple of spotlight winners, and a lot of ideas for the others that will probably take another long while to complete, but I do try to work on all of them getting a minimal set of stats, minion, tc as soon as possible.

I have Kikue available for adoption if that strikes your fancy? It's a Japanese name combined from "rejoice", "long time", and "picture, painting, drawing, sketch" in kanji.
