I don't know about other users but it would be very handy if the "items found in total!" were at the top of the page not the bottom.

For example: When reading books to my pets the total is the easiest way to tell if they have all read a book or not. Having over 50 pets means a fair bit of scrolling for each book.

Option 1 would be have the total at the top.

Option 2 would be at the top and the bottom.

I don't see any harm in putting the total at both the top and bottom

I rarely have a very long list of stuff, since I only have 10 pets and the vast majority of items simply get fed/read to my main pet. But while this doesn't really affect me one way or the other, I seriously understand the annoyance of a bunch of scrolling to get to the info you're looking for.
