So I am not sure how to express this properly but I am looking for more "overlay" kind of foregrounds - those semi-transparent items that would be useful to make the avatar better fit into the backdrop! (say for example i have all those bright colored clothes on and want to put my avatar on a night themed backdrop but it pops too much and looks very unnatural, so I am searching for some night-ish foreground to help unify the colors.)

These are some I found already:

(and the rest of the bulbs)

Got any more suggestions like these? Thank you ♥

Are a few more I can think.

While not exactly what you're looking for, the cut-out items can be combined with the background for a cool effect that makes it less likely to clash with the avatar, but they do create a division between the avatar and the scene.

There are loads of color tints, like the one I used on this:

This item gives a nice bit of light plus dimming at the same time, which is handy...

The forms of lightning are all super useful:

Popping bright light like these in front of a dark background can sometimes help...

Here's another with antiquing:

This one is kind of pale, so it doesn't necessarily work with really dark backgrounds, but it can help shift a background a bit to work better...

SPOILER (click to toggle) Private Outfit

This whole background is made up of pieces that blend in on one side or the other...

These colorful bug bits can be handy to brighten a dim background, so that a bright outfit fits better...

There are several auras that come down from up above, or lights coming in windows...

And there are some great rain filters:

Think I used a filter on this background, too...

Rain filters plus lightning filters (that you saw before) plus a lantern...:

Cuts and softens the edges of the background:

There are a bunch of half pieces that cover the top of the image... I like this eclipse, because it darkens while also brightening...

I dimmed this with something...

A brightener:

Also, put a bunch of different filters on this outfit, which might be interesting to you (there are a few colors of the fireflies, painted landscapes, moon crystals, music notes, bokeh bubbles, dragon thing...):

There are also several items that cover the space just directly behind the HA (including other colors of the incense burners and tumbled stones, fireworks...):

And some glitter filters (I think a couple of these come in a bunch of different colors)

A number of the edges I added to this one also filter the background (pretty sure there are other colors of the flowering frame)...

The rainbow in this is a good item to overlay on a sky background:

A few structural pieces useful in layering:

There are several different lanterns that dim the surrounding area (Lots of colors of the firefly, spoopy, etc. lanterns):

Plus random others I've spotted:

Several colors of these for sure:

Separated this one out because I think it's spectacular: Some of these I'm sure I've repeated, but there you have it...
