unfortunately Subeta overuses the word Alchemy.

Alchemy Points are one sixteenth of your Intelligence, and are for casting spells from your pet's brains during battle. One fifth of your AP is your Scroll skill level, which is a Spells Galore reagent combining thingy that lets your pet make scrolls for battle. It is possible to be able to use a scroll you cannot make. Alchemy Points etc. are pet specific.

Alchove alchemy is a zombies only combinatorics feature similar to Genetech Lab or Fantine's Baking. Your skill level here has nothing to do with your AP, your pets' intelligence, or your skill level at the Secluded Shrine.

Yes, so you'll either have to wait until next February and unlock some zombie skins for yourself. Or you can figure out what ingredients you need for the items you want and see if anyone is willing to try and make the item for you, there might be a thread for that somewhere.
