About the subetaBOX

Approximately 1 year ago, and I conspired to create the subetaBOX, a monthly subscription-box style release of around 5 new CWs created according to a theme. Each month the theme and the artists participating change, so that every month is something new! There is never any requirement to buy, and for each monthly release we hold several days worth of giveaways that are free and open to anyone, regardless of whether or not you have purchased a box.

The subetaBOX was started around the time when the site seemed filled with a lot of negativity toward CWs, and we wanted reinvigorate the CW community and show that everyone is welcome there. Over the past year we've given away dozens of CWs and items in our giveaways, curated a ton of unique CWs in the boxes, and generally just had a lot of fun! In honor of our anniversary this week, we're hosting 5 days of events and giving away a TON of prizes!!! We also have nearly double our usual number of CWs for sale - the theme this month is Mystical and there truly is something for everyone.

Who Can Join?

Everyone is welcome to join the BOX thread! Since the CW community is small compared to the site as whole, I wanted to advertise here in case there are folks who might be interested in CWs, but don't know where to start or how to join in. The subetaBOX is an easy entry point and everyone in our thread is super nice and helpful. Come celebrate with us! And if you're not interested, I would be over the moon if you would ping friends you think might be to this thread. We want to make the CW community open and accessible to everyone!
