Since there have been so many good ideas thrown out on news posts, I thought it would be good to compile them here on a dedicated thread and have further discussion. What do you think? Do you have any design, name, or lore suggestions? Share them here!

I would most love to see Galactic meteor/shooting star, Nostalgic Play-Doh, and perhaps Steamwork Soot Sprite (Spirited Away, anyone?) ❤

I myself named the blob Tarpie (Tar+Cutie) but I'm sure people will come up with other creative names.

I really, really want to see our blob in Sweetheart. In pink with darker pink hearts on its body everywhere? :D

I was one of the people hoping for a Galactic meteor or asteroid. And i would love a Sweetheart strawberry bonbon.

Things that would be great, but not ones i would necessarily make for myself: Nostalgic could be silly putty, play-doh, or that green slime from Mattel, that came in the little trash can. Hydrus maybe a jellyfish? or sea anemone Storm could be a little storm cloud. With eyes. Angelic could be puffy white cloud. With eyes. And wings. And a halo. Glacier would of course be a snowball. Maybe partially melted, so it's in a puddle and maintains the basic shape of the common blob. Reborn could be a fireball but i think lava would be better. Again, maintaining the basic shape of the blob, rather than perfectly round.

I love how the unique designs give the artist room to get creative, while recolours of the common style give the user a chance to exercise their own imagination. What does this little [insert colour here] blob look like to me...

Hope the official name is announced soon, so we can stop calling it "blob"

For sweetheart, I could see some kind of mochi? I think that would be really cute!

Even if one of those ideas was picked, it'd be awesome :D (and now I really do want to see a partially melted snowball as the Glacier Blob :D)

I don't think the nostalgic should be play-doh, personally, since we have one like that already (but who is to say we can't have two !) I kinda hope the sweetheart one looks like a dark pink dollop of frosting, covered with little hearts, and big heart-shaped aqua eyes.

I visioned the cream version of it to be a dollop of whipped cream with sprinkles on top. would be very cute on the sweetheart one too, with heart shaped sprinkles added to the the mix :P I just doodled a few ideas how I vision the blob in different colors to pass the time at work. It's very fun, and I hope the artists will have a jolly good time with them too! :D

SAME HERE but like... I doubt it's going to be changed for each base color. But a dollop of whipped cream was literally what I first thought for the cream, ahahaha

Rubik's cube for the Nostalgic form. Make the different colors the different flavors that it comes in. Like fuzzy grass, or sticky looking, or sand, or whatever it ends up being in other colors. (and bonus points if it's solvable and not randomly put together, [sub]like how there are several incorrectly piped dice. they kill me a little more every time. D:[/sub]) It would maybe be a little more interesting than just putty/clay/play-doh and reflect the possible differences of this thing?
