Hi. I bought Spore creature creator a few months back and every time I try to play it this pops up

apparently a this dll has something to do with a direct x driver but my computer says it's up to date, I'm on windows 10 And don't tell me to talk to EA they are the worst company, I've tried getting my money back cuz it won't work, they never respond to me. How do I fix this?

Windows 10 is known have problems with legacy DirectX 9 libraries, and sometimes you'll have to work around it.

Search for this: DirectX End-User Runtimes (June 2010) Despite the Microsoft site saying it only works up to Win 7, it should work for Win 10.

So I search that and do I download it?

I downloaded it, now what? I chose to extract the files into my downloads folder, was that a mistake cuz it didn't work I'm still getting the same error message when trying to open spore cc. :( Did I do it wrong? Was I not supposed to extract? Are they in the wrong folder? Sorry I don't understand this stuff at all.

You need to run the setup from that folder. Extracting the files is just the first step.
