I was sitting here thinking "Is it too soon to bring up Destiny 2?" because the game doesn't officially release until early September. BUT, the beta is out for those that pre-ordered the game on PS4 and Xbox One, and it opens to the public tomorrow so that counts, right?

The beta just opened for me yesterday since I pre-ordered it on the Xbox One and I played it all evening after work. I played with a team of 4 friends and it was like old times on the first Destiny. I do wish that there was more to do on the beta like there was on the original Destiny's beta, but at the same time, none of your progress transfers to the release of the game so it isn't a big deal.

Also, what do you main in Destiny 1 and what are you planning on maining in Destiny 2? I am a Hunter main (specifically Gunslinger) on the first Destiny. As awesome as the Sentinel Titan looks on Destiny 2, I'll probably stick with my Hunter. I am too attached to my character and the class to main anyone else. Not to mention, most of my friends are going to be Titan mains in Destiny 2 (including those that mained someone else in Destiny 1) so really, I just want to be someone different from them.

I am entirely incapable of maining any one class lmao In terms of play time, I'm probably a hunter/warlock main, but my titan has more story work put into him.

I was hoping for more from the beta, as well??? I mean, the content we got was AMAZING and i 100% teared up when my ghost went dark but I guess I just wanted to be able to explore more freely.

One thing I also want to bring up is that I'm happy that it still FEELS like destiny. In terms of mechanic and UI.

HOWEVER

The hunter has toe shoes and idk how i feel about that

I consider myself a Hunter main, but in terms of the beta, I feel like I played them all equally for the most part (but still with emphasis on the Hunter lol).

I would've enjoyed to have an open world like we did in D1's beta. They opened up Old Russia, I'm pretty sure. Were you able to check out The Farm for the hour that it opened? I got to get a peek of it. I would've explored longer but I had to drop my fiance off at the airport lol.

The hunter toe shoes!!! Oh my goodness, I know exactly what you're talking about. I was comparing them to the toe shoes my friend used to always wear lol. And thanks! I am not big into HA's so it's nice to have one that I never feel obligated to change thanks to my UN lol.
