I would be interested in Namesake if he's Hydrus! (would he still go back to common if you friend and send? instead of through adoption center which is what I'm guessing you're mentioning? just curious, I haven't adopted pets from other people yet) I really love his merman vibe and his name, and that there's Viking lore in his bio because I'm a bit of a Vikings nerd. ;)

The pet remains hydrus if directly transferred to another user. If the pet is placed into the AC, that is when they turn to a basic color.

OVERCOAT is still available!

I've been musing for a couple days and I can't keep Overcoat out of my mind! I have an idea of them being a large creature, possibly a mass of many creatures, but their true nature mysterious. Their appearance would be based on the plant Alternanthera, some varieties called Joseph's Coat for their vibrant colors color. I have been imagining Overcoat kind of like No Face from Spirited Away if you've seen that movie, only covered in colorful leaves and foliage, and possible "eating" of people who wander too far away from the safety of civilization. Because their appearance is based around the plant, the name make sense and so I wouldn't have any need to change it! Not sure on color/species yet.
