Currently watching, no spoilers please. I've seen up to episode 12 season 1. I love it so far. My favorites are probably Eraserhead, Tsu and Iida XD

I keep seeing this name pop up with a lot of acclaim but honestly I couldn't get into the first chapter when I tried to read it. Can you try and sell me on what makes the plot so good? What about the characters? Should I try the anime instead of the manga, and if so, sub or dub(I'm fine with either usually)?

i'm caught up with the anime up to s2. i think in the beginning, the main character seems super annoying and weak, which puts a lot of people off. but he'll learn to control his powers and become more confident, which is inspirational i suppose. what really makes the anime IMO is everyone else, they have their own backstories and such that are pretty interesting, and during battles you see how they use their Quirks. I pretty much just watched for the classmates haha. Didn't read the manga though so I can't say what medium the story is best conveyed in, but I watched it all subbed.

I just started watching the anime a few days ago. I'm at ep. 21, so a little into season 2. I love the characters a lot. Hm, if I had to pick my favorite character I'd say Aizawa (Eraserhead).

Tsu is the girl with the frog powers, right? She's cool too. All the characters are really cool. Iida grew on me pretty fast. I like how he takes things so seriously. I think you've seen the ep where he gets into character as a villian. I liked his evil laugh~

I hope Bakugo learns how to chill, though. He's so intense all the time.

tbh s1 wasn't super great for me but s2 so far is really good and is much better than s1 :)

Tsu is the best characterrrr!! My favorite of the show, she's so cute! Good smile company needs to get on making merc of her!
