I've been working on trying to beat every opponent with my battle girl...and I'm down to these and I'm kinda stuck... Tips on specific weapon sets/ scroll sets for any of these opponents would be great! (I'm likely losing since I keep the same set....)

Opponents I Need To Beat: Prodigy - 8/10 wins....crits hurt The Mage - Got destroyed on turn 2 Baenwurath - Have never made it to even half-health... Cinthilocks - I get close...and then die.. Forj Matriarch, the Erupting - Got meteored (or whatever that attack is called) to death... Meatslab, the Furious - Got destroyed on turn 2 Menecuda - Have never made it to even half-health... Mutant Scientist - Have never made it to even half-health... Prakherash - Have never made it to even half-health... ((Also need The Troll which is special & the new Saharic Beetle but I haven't bought it yet))

Pet Stats Level: 1389 Health: 5412 ((Trying to boost this up now)) Strength: 3718 Defense: 3094 Speed: 2916 Intelligence: 2439 AP: 152 Tier: 12

Your pet's stats look good. You should be able to get at least 5 wins on everyone except for maybe Baenwurath who will take a lot of patience and losses.

For Prodigy, Chase, crithbolcan, Baenwurath, the forj, meatslab, mutant scientist, Prakherash and Tatuvichwa:

There is a guide on recommended weapons and strategy for how to beat them here

has a wikia they are working on how to beat impossible challengers. He has cinthilocks and The Mage's weapons listed here: http://subeta.wikia.com/wiki/Cinthilocks and here: http://subeta.wikia.com/wiki/The_Mage

You can use their weapon list as a guide for what weapons to block against them.

Ah thanks, I'll give it a look.

What about stats? Should I keep boosting only health or does something else need work?

Do you have a final build in mind for when you cap? High health is always nice to absorb hits, especially crit hits since your speed is so low. If you want the unstable fairy scroll to become a more useful infinite freezing scroll, you could bump up your speed to 5k. That is when the scroll is at its best and will help you take less crit hits from opponents. You could increase strength to help battles end faster since you will be dealing more damage. That could be useful for guys you have listed that all have high health. It is especially useful for the opponents that have stat boosting weapons that only make them stronger the longer the battle goes on. Combine high strength with high speed and you could score your own crit hits and do double damage, add crit strike mods and have the potential to do x4 damage. Or you could increase defense. Increased defense is better for lengthy battles to help you survive normal opponent attacks as well as crit hits. It all depends on how you are dying to opponents, what you are lacking.

From what I can tell based on your scroll and weapons, it is more strategy that is hurting you. There are a few opponents you listed you can easily crush with the right weapons. I love blasting, as it can be used all the time and takes an opponent's weapon out of the equation. If you can blast a weapon that boosts, that's usually the best defense against opponents with stat boosting weapons. Some opponents also have infinite use bombs or infinite weapons that generate bombs. Blasting those weapons that they also favor is very useful. I see you have the recycle blaster so that's good. You may want to consider getting soma tablets at a chance to blast two weapons, but the you lose that extra slot for a heal, block, or weapon so it's up to you.

I wrote some notes on Menecuda on the battle chat forum. I think my notes are on pages 4 and 5, but he deals a lot of dark, magma, then fire and water mixed with some physical. He also has a partial freeze protection similar to cinithilocks. He also has boosting weapons, toxic waste, that will boost strength and defense. I used cronus + natasha against him since I don't have maniacal essence, but the better combo would be cronus + maniacal essence. the energized mecha bomb you can create from the battle shop is nice against him as it boosts your stats and defends against some physical. I mostly like to use it for the stat boost. For scrolls, I swapped out my freezing set for my default defense/attack set. The void scroll is very nice against him, as are fatal fire, cobalt eternal and gift of the forj. Aftershocks is a good infinite use scroll for him.

You have a lot of nice stuff I am super jelly xD Unfortunately, some of the weapons you need to beat drop the weapons you need. Blessed trident and unstable syringe are the best against mama forj for all the water damage, but you need to beat mutant scientist for the syringe. The easiest way to beat meatslab is using the cronus blade, so you will need to borrow that from someone until you beat him 5 times to win your own. Prodigy drops the void scroll, but he is beatable with natasha and manifesting weapon. I don't have manifesting weapon and was able to beat him with the sierrac ice flail as a substitute water blocker until I get my own manifesting weapon.

[edit]

Once I have more time to sit down and type tonight I can go more in depth on strategy. Let me know what opponent you would like me to focus on first

The crits kill me with a LOT of opponents....I guess to avoid that high speed would be good. Speed + health I guess would be priority for me then.

I used some stat boosters I had & got to this:

Level: 1426 Health: 5527 Strength: 3764 Defense: 3134 Speed: 2960 Intelligence: 2484 6615 free points

If I Boost Speed to 5000, I'll have 2040 Points left I can boost Health to 6k and use what's left to up Attack to 4237

That would leave me with this; (with the ability to raise Intelligence for higher AP) Level: 1426 Health: 6000 Strength: 4237 Defense: 3134 Speed: 5000 Intelligence: 2484

Think that sounds like a good build? Or should I devote more points to attack and less to HP?

I've been working on Prodigy - I've got 8 of 10 wins which is amazing since I only had 1 (by luck) before - got that scroll too! I'm now losing almost consistently to critical hits, which I'm assuming is due to my low speed compared to Prodigy's high speed.... might have to wait a little while longer till I can boost speed up some more for wins 9 & 10.

I guess I should start with Mutant Scientist then to win the syringe, unless there's something easier I can beat with what I have to earn the EXP for the speed boosts.

😄 These are within your grasp, all 10 wins 😄

Crithbolcan Tatuvichwa C.A.P.S Droid Chase

5 wins for these are more than possible with your stats: Mama Forj Cinthilocks

Perhaps Meatslab and Mage and some wins on Menecuda but I haven't been there yet so I can't say for sure. All the other ones I've listed above I can guarantee that you'll get at least 5 wins if not more, though 😄

Best of luck getting all those EXP ^^

I'm not sure if you've made the following by buying components from the battle shop: (freezer) (curse + blessing + stat boosts) They're highly recommended against many of the listed opponents.

Crithbolcan From your set:

Scroll: Just Aftershocks is enough

Missing from your set: (optional, loot from Flamagia) (to replace Siren Harp)

Better replacement for the Minotaur Knocker is but with your def and hp I think the Minotaur can work fine.

Strategy: Freeze first turn + earth block. Blast + curse second turn, then Blessed Trident + Knocker throughout, when curse expires, use Knocker + Rapier of Error to set up curse again. Use Aftershocks throughout. No throwing potions needed. Phoenix Quill when health is low.

Tatuvichwa From your set: or Scrolls: Fill every available slots with bomb scroll (Morosbane or Gale Force), defensive scrolls (Cobalts) and additional freezing scrolls (Perilous Whirlpool)

Missing from your set: Captured Eternal Flame (for curse), Energized Helmet (to replace Siren Harp), Soma Tablets and Mecha.

Strategy: Freeze first turn, double blast or blast + curse (if without Soma) second turn. Try to set up curse early in the battle when the first stage weapons haven't broken. When the second stage comes (usually around 50% hp down, depending on number of wins), drop curse (i.e. don't use rapier of error) and get defense up (i.e. 2 attackers at all time)

Use freezing scrolls sporadically throughout the battle when you need a breather, either to heal up or to set up more freeze or curses. More likely to heal than anything. Don't try to chain freeze esp. when Tatu grows in health.

Chase From your set:

Scroll: Just Aftershocks is enough.

Missing from your set: Soma Tablets + Mecha

If you don't have Soma, you can leave a junk weapon with negative heal (Cursed Demon Sword, -4% heal) as a steal bait. Use attacker (Trident) + blast first turn. Or you can even leave your blaster there. In case he steals the blaster and uses it, it will blows up and turns one of his weapons into a cube. If you don't choose to use blast first turn, use attacker + Mecha instead. Then use Trident + Natasha + Aftershocks throughout. Heal when needed. If he steals one of your attackers, use the other available (always wind + fire or wind + light). Winning Chase depends on luck, so it's pretty expected that you'll get some losses because he ends up stealing everything from you.

C.A.P.S Droid Physical block is needed. You need The Ether, or at the very least Plague Claw, though I'm not sure whether the later would guarantee wins for battles 5 to 10.

Then from your set:

Scrolls: Aftershocks, Psycho Smasher, Shriek, Perilous Whirlpool x all available, Cobalt x all available

Missing from your set: Soma Tablets, Energized Helmet (highly recommended, over Siren Harp), Mecha, Reviver of the Lion (having a second clutch heal is also highly recommended)

Strategy: Freeze first turn, then double blast or blast + Mecha second turn. Try to get your anti-freeze blessing up as soon as possible because the robot freezes. Then The Ether/ Plague Claw + Paintbrush Blades + Aftershocks throughout. Heal when needed. Use Cobalts when health is low and you prioritise heal over attack. Freeze when you need a breather to heal up.

For Mama Forj, you'll need a magma block. Without one, it'd be quite difficult trying to get wins. At your stat and with a magma block, you can get 10 wins against her.

[edit] I derped. Never mind 😄

There are ways around the crits. My speed is also low so instead I am focusing on high health and some defense to absorb most of the blows. I am also boosting strength so battles end faster. Unfortunately, speed is more like an on/off switch. If you have more than your opponent then they can't hit you, but if you have less than your opponent, then there is a % chance they could crit hit you. A lot of really hard challengers have high speed so you will either need 7k+ speed to overcome all of them or find alternatives to weaken the blows. I would really only invest more into speed if you want a high speed build to play around with or if there are certain weapons/scrolls you want to use that can only be achieved with high speed. Stat cap is also 35k stats so the final build you listed is still well short of hitting cap. 22k was the original stat cap but that is just T13 now. Intel does not count towards your final stats.

A good way to tell how tough an opponent will be is through the experience they drop. Typically the harder, the opponent the more exp. It's not always true though, more of a guideline. I would say the opponent difficulty is as follows:

Tatuvichwa (should be able to get 10 wins) Chase (probably around here, I don't have him unlocked) Crithbolcan (should be able to get 10 wins) Forj Matriarch, the Erupting (should be able to get 10 wins) C.A.P.S. Droid (should be able to get 10 wins) Cinthilocks (should be able to get 10 wins but will take some losses) Prodigy (getting the last couple of wins is hard on him but easier to get to 5 wins than the mage) The Mage (some battles are luck based but can get to 10 wins) Menecuda (should be able to get to 10 wins but will take some losses) Mutant Scientist (should be able to get at least 5) Prakherash (should be able to get at least 5) Meatslab, the Furious (should be able to get at least 4 or 5) Baenwurath (too hard for right now most likely)

I too feel your pain with prodigy as I am also losing to crit hits and I have around 8-9 wins. I do not have the manifesting weapon though so he is killing me with water and dark. A good strategy for him is to equip as many freezing scrolls as possible and hope you can chain freeze him to death. The one good thing about the flail is that it has the chance to freeze. However, the heal on it is low, I should at least get speed to 4k if I'm going to use it, and it does not block as much water. Sword of the seven seas will definitely get you the last wins on him, but manifesting weapon is the more practical option if you don't have SoSS. Other than the chain freezing blasting his proton bombs with recycle blaster and soma tablets helps. I like to use the mecha as it also boosts my stats.

For Mutant scientist, the most effect weapons I found were natasha and ornamented hook swords, however the cronus blade also helped in that it boosts your stats with each use. My weapon set looked like this:

She can do a little of everything, but she favors earth and has the potential to do a lot of fire or magma. Again, cronus may work as well for the magma block and boost. She also has the high chance to freeze so you will want to make sure you are modded with parched baguettes. She also has a blessing that has a high chance to activate the first turn that makes her immune to freezing, but it is possible to chain freeze some battles if it doesn't activate right away. The weapon that you will want to blast that could be a real nuisance is the accelerated skin generation. It could heal her for up to 11% or damage her for 3%. Add the 35k+ health and 11% heal makes her ridiculous to damage so you may also want to consider crit hit crystals on a couple of mod slots as well or hope that you blast at least one skin.

For scrolls I used my default defense set instead of freezing: Skelly, gotf, cobalt (x3), sancturia exodin, fatal fire (x3), and the void

Well I knocked off Chase, Crithbolcan, and Tatuvichwa. Strategy is defiantly my issue. I killed Crithbolcan, and Tatuvichwa 10x each with ease...

But Seriously - Chase. Is there some RNG with his stealing based on your set or something? He would steal EVERYTHING from me. I'd come in with 8 weapons and he'd steal them ALL....EVERY TIME. I changed my set and...he stole one item on battle 8....and that's it.... It's a bit freaky.... I didn't even mod the stuff.... Still 10 wins, not going to complain!

Thanks for the set advice. I have the Plague Claw, so I'll try that on CAPS. Do you know a good Magma block for forj?

I feel like a dum-dum; totally forget stat cap was now 35k! Here I was worried about the 22k....I think I'm going fast & health!

Something like one of these: Health: 12000 Strength: 8000 Defense: 6000 Speed: 9000 Health: 13000 Strength: 7500 Defense: 5500 Speed: 9000 Lots of HP and lots of speed. Fast and beefy XD That's what seems to work for me. I used to focus on Strength & Defense when she was a low tier and it was an uphill battle. I like my more beefy girl now :)

His scroll has a chance to steal. Sometimes it activates more than other times. Are you modded with blessed armor crystals for him? That protects from stealing. You could also use the ornamented hook swords that have a blessing to protect from stealing. Instead of stealing protection, you could use natasha to generate bullets that become steal fodder or the ether that generates weapon fodder.

The high speed mixed with high strength would be good for event challengers where you want to do the maximum amount of damage as quickly as possible. Otherwise once you get closer to the cap you don't have to worry as much about opponent crit hits. High health builds also mean you heal for more per turn. For example, say your opponent crit hits you for 4k damage. If your pet has 10k and you are healing for 27% of your health through weapons and scrolls, you will heal for 2,700 per turn. Your opponent then is only doing 1,300 points of damage and that is considering 0 block.

The best magma block would be the Cronus Blade itself, but then it means you'll need to either borrow it or win it from Big Meatslab. Then again, in order to win it from Big Meatslab you need to borrow Cronus haha 😂 Another equally good alternative is the Unstable Sample Syringe dropped by Mutant Scientist (Perhaps better than Cronus because Syringe deals heavy water damage which Forj doesn't block).

Another one, which I used against Mama Forj for 5 wins is the Shadowglen Anchor (from MC) because I'm cheap and I'd rather wait to beat Mutant Scientist than fork 100 mil for the Syringe. If you can borrow the Syringe it'd be much better. I'm 3,000 stats down from you and got my 5 wins against Mama Forj with the Anchor, so if you use it or a better weapon you'll likely get 10 wins against her. For scroll, I'd recommend the Ocean Current for stacked water damage.

Btw my two cents but I don't think you'll need 9,000 speed. Much higher speed doesn't mean you'll crit your opponents more: you'll just need 1 point over their speed to make that happen, and most opponents have at most 7,000 speed and for boss 8,000. I'd invest those 999 points in other stats, but that's just something to consider. The final decision is ofc up to you 😄
