Notepad is still spaced out

My notepad is extremely spaced out. I've been having this problem for such a long time now. There was another thread about this almost six month ago, but nothing has changed since then. Am I the only one who`s still having this problem?

I've been having this too. I thought it might have been something to do with the code I was using, but I checked and I'm not using anything that would space it out like that. Plus it was never so spaced out before.

This isn't an official fix, but it's what I'm finding helps me
Try writing your notepad out like this
Line one
That'll force a line break between each section, without double spacing (or at least it's working for me so I hope it works for you both too!)
Line two
Line three

Are you keeping everything in the same paragraph so to speak, or are you still also using enter to make new lines?

Ah that did it. I thought I did have everything on the same line, but I didn't. Hard to tell in that small space when everything is code and so cramped together! xD Thanks! ^-^

Yes, super hard to tell, especially when you have links x'D Glad it helped! Hope staff finds an official fix for this though, so it's easier to sort through the notepad C:
Yeah, that's all I've got in my Notepad. It's so hard to tell where a new line is, and I have to be careful not to miss out anything important and break the code!
Me too. The double spacing might be handy sometimes, but I think it's something you should have to add if you want it, not the default.

Hi everyone. This is on my list of problems to look into. I can't say how quick the fix will be, unfortunately.
For now, you can try using some customCSS I wrote for this issue. See here: CustomCSS to fix extra line breaks/spacing

Will that work for Tickets as well? I filed a ticket earlier, and I noticed that both my posts and the UA responses had a lot of spacing between paragraphs. Looked like about two or three lines between text.

Couldn't sleep so decided to look into this. I think I fixed it.
I noticed it happening in these places:
- Profile comments
- News comments
- Notepad widget
- Ticket center
- Forum posts (after you submit an edit)
Those are the only places I knew it was happening and they should be fixed now. If it's still happening somewhere else just let me know and I'll look into it.
[edit] smh it seems to be happening in "recent posts" as well.
