We have a Design Journal for Subeautique designer Hazel, and we have two Dollies of their designs.

I'll bet many of the other awesome designers have design secrets and merchandising trash, too. I'd love to see dolls of Verdi and the book of Eddie Bell, myself. But all of them could make up some awesome items.

The only drawback to this is if they require an Invitation to buy and they may take up slots in NPC Esmerelda's that would otherwise be a piece of clothing. But it'd be fun.

Maybe the design books/dolls could have a their own section like the makeup collections do, though that'd make them less rare but, I'm not sure that would actually a problem

A separate section for design journals and dolls would be neat. Kinda weird that Esmerelda would be selling their secret journals, but since there's already one journal we might as well have more! ^-^

this would be nice! i think it would be neat if the designers put out some photo books or sketch collections like hazel's journal. junko puts out prints with their collection a lot, so it'd be neat if she or another designer maybe sold some croquis, too?

I'd be all for this, but I agree maybe they should be in a separate section like the makeup kits are.

I like the idea of having more designer journals/books, merch-type non-wears in a separate section like the makeups as well.

I've almost never said no to more books, and I've never ever said no to more restockable books.

Plus the one existing Journal is fantastic TC fodder, working as both a writing journal or the various types of scenarios a "design journal" could apply too (designs like architecture, fashion, concept designs, artwork, to name a few). I love the idea of having more because each designer has a varied and unique style, they could work so well.

And if there's any hesitation due to having more books clutter up the clothes restocks these could always be treated like the makeups with their own shop and a higher price tag (and moving the one we have to the same place), just like Curbdirt suggested! Call it like a SubQ giftshop or something (like a lot of places have... books, pens, magnets, postcards, etc). Then people who want the journals/books could "Waste" as many invites as they want on them and stuff.

... it'd be really neat if like, they did that and they had like a "book signing" for the release of the book sets? Where for like the first week people could "bring" one of the books and the designerNPC could sign it and then there'd be TWO books (the normal version, and a "signed" version) for double books. Plus we could have like an event of sorts (for a lack of better terms) with the NPCs doing a Q&A in the forums and we could ask questions none of them would answer and it'd be fun. And it's something that could be brought back (the signing/Q&A bit) yearly whenever we do that fashion week thingy (that's still a thing right?).

"Subeautique Makeup" can be changed to "Subeautique Kiosk" or something, and a page for non-wearables can be added ? I'd love more stuff like this anyhow. I want the dolls AND journals of Dapper So, Eddie Bell, and Este Evvu.

Ahhh I love Andrea's idea of having it be a gift shop. Basically, where you can get all sorts of non-wearable merch for fans of a designer! Notebooks, journals, pens and pencils, notepads, and definitely more dolls. I love Hazel's dolls - they're adorable. I would love to see some dolls for eddie bell's lines myself :P

I'd love to see more stationery items (newer one, with newer/fancier art!) I think those would make amazing TC fodder as well, like for any artist/writer/designer type characters and more.
