Reason why: People might missed random events on top without on side bar.

So can you add that without missed random events. More easy to notice that way.

Having the event at the top of the page is enough. Some events don't do anything, and I'd rather not get an alert for REs like that.

The only random events I can see this being useful for are the ones you have to click to get something out of. Like Tempest, or that one BC challenger (I can't remember its name right now). But I think these should be things that you have to keep an eye out for yourself. That's part of the challenge of them. If there was a sidebar event too, it'd be too easy.

I don't really find this necessary. I agree that it makes things like the Tempest too easy, and I don't really find it an issue to miss an RE even if it gives you an item. Though I would never even notice something like that and just shuffle it into a shop, most likely assuming it came from a quest or something.

If a random item shows up in your inventory out of nowhere, chances are it came from a random event. People miss these events a lot, but we get used to the random items popping up in our inventories because we've gotten to know where they come from.

There's also an event where you get sP, so if your on-hand sP goes up by a few thousand for no apparent reason, it was probably this event.

Still, it could be useful if there is some way people could check what events they've missed. No to alerts, but a page where people can see the last ten or so random events they encountered would be helpful. Then if someone got an unexpected item or a sudden increase in sP, they can check that page to see if it came from a random event.

I'm always missing Tempest events, so I can see where this might be useful. But overall, I think it would just be one more event to have get rid of. More annoying than helpful in the end.

It could be helpful for Oracle quests too, but I have the Oracle quest widget on my dashboard, so an event for that would be redundant.
