if i understand tiers right, i'm about a month or so away from widow finally reaching t11. i have a bunch of stuff wishlisted for her from poking around all the other advice threads, but i have no clue as to what i should be prioritizing since a lot of it is... pricy x:
her stats, more or less - HP 2100 / STR 2000 / DEF 1900 / SPD 1850 / INT 1750 (109 AP)
default set -
i also have random other things floating around, like
default scrolls - * *
i'm saving up my second round of eh tokens since i know i want the mecha at some point (i need one for a tc too. Yikes) and i should probably? buy more cobalts?? maybe replace my rapier with ??? pray for bhh to kindly sell me a large bow with teeth?? outside of that i'm virtually clueless ;w;
Your default set looks good! I would swap out the gutting knife for the minotaur blocker since the earth block is more critical than the light block. Sierrac basal flail is a good replacement for the rapier until you can win or buy . It won't be easy in the beginning, but it will help you get wins on opponents like crawbeast for battle quests.
comet flash will be good against malerias familiar once you get to 2500 defense so you have some time before you buy that one. I would hold off on the swashbuckle since you already have a blessed trident. I would hold off on Reviver Of The Lion, Trusty Blades and the pbow (or as you call it the bow with teeth). You can use perilous whirlpool scrolls and fatal fire to block fire.
Your scroll set definitely needs upgrading, even before you buy more weapons. The first thing to replace is your divine denizhen scroll with the aftershocks scroll, or feather explosion, or ocean current scroll. Of the three, I think aftershocks as the better icons to block. You could also get a few more cobalt scrolls. is also a really great scroll to have.
After upgrading scrolls, I would get the unstable syringe next. Only buy the pbow if you can get it at a good price (in the 400 - 450 mil range). You could also use as a cheap alternative to block fire and is nice to use for the forj.
You have a ton of challengers on there as well. I would unlock them in this order:
Signet Fusion Knuckles - you will get the aftershocks scroll and core of the island beating this guy Sierrac Signet - you will get the sierrac flail from this challenger Flamagia Signet Vandalized Research Notes - drops the paint brush blades, a really nice entry level T11 weapon I used for the longest time
Unlock when you are T12: Research File Cabinet - will be a long time before you can beat her but you can get the unstable syringe by beating this challenger's hardest form Bloody Summoning Altar - will be a long time before you can beat this guy but you can make the cronus blade after beating him Cinthilocks and the Three Bears - will be a while before you can beat her Medieval Research Notes - unlocks the hardest challenger
The rest I would unlock as you have the CSC funds for the experience.
thank you so much for the advice! esp about the challengers and the associated loot, once i wishlisted them all i was like... jeez where do i even start with these, there's so many?? but having a handful to start with is much more manageable thank you again ;w;
My advice would be a little bit different from . If budget is your current concern, I'd prioritise upgrading your set in the following order: >
If you keep pumping EXP into health your Holy Deluge and Divine Denizhen would make for good temporary alternatives to the Aftershocks. When you're around 2,200 in Strength/ Defence and a little more in HP you can start borrowing stuff to earn your own Aftershocks. I used to battle on a budget and the Divine was serviceable for me up to Flamagia in BQ. Holy Deluge would be better than Divine Denizhen for its heal.
If you need a fire blocking option, the Bludgeon of Mass Extinction is a cheaper alternative for the Prodigy Staff, but if you want to invest in a solid fire block until you can buy your PBow or Natasha then the is another good choice. I'd wait until the Pstaff dips in price, or go straight for the Cursed Liquid Fire Torch, but maybe that's just me.
You're welcome! I'm going to list a few more opponents that will give you a good bang for your buck experience wise and you can beat them now as well since I am not sure how much of a hard time the first 4 will be for you.
Deadroot Summoning Branch - has two forms you can beat for more experience Infested Research Notes Slaglord Signet Fire Ice And Air Knuckles
The Research File Cabinet and Bloody Summoning Altar I listed are expensive but it is because they give you more than one opponent. Once you beat the easiest form 10 times, a harder challenger appears. For the file cabinet, it is two opponents: one you can get wins on now and the other won't be until around mid T12. The alter unlocks three challengers: two you can beat now and the third won't be until mid T12. I think now you should have a good number of challengers to keep you busy :D
thanks for the advice! budget is my concern in that hoarding the cash needed for natasha gives my perpetually-broke self some pause lmao; otherwise only thing i'm saving up for is pet slots, so some fancy stuff for widow is a good interim goal. & maybe i'm stubborn, but i'd rather win my aftershocks than buy it so my divine denizhen will be sticking around a while longer haha i'll probably sit on all the weapons suggestions for a bit before deciding on what to go for... tho tbh comet flash and the bludgeon are cheap enough that i might just buy them outright and then upgrade as i plateau p:
o oh goodness, thank you again! i actually looked at buying the altar during the last bonus weekend since i bought mama forj a bit ago for her first two forms, so maybe i'll go for him next month w
I think the weapons you currently have are well put together, that's why I suggested focusing more on scroll upgrades rather than weapon upgrades. I found aftershocks to be very useful so I bought my copy from a friend, then when I was able to beat crithbolcan, I sold the extra copy and called it a wash. You can beat crithbolcan at high T10, but only with the right set. You could try trident and the knocker, but the unstable syringe with the trident would be really good against him. However, the right scrolls going into battle are also critical.
Mama forj is a great challenger! She will drop the gift of the forj scroll, which I find to be super handy. Meatslab will be a good investment. Your pet is in range of beating his extremely hard form.
i just mean i'll probably look into buying the knuckles before i buy the aftershocks 'cause i don't mind throwing myself at it while i save up for the scroll (assuming i can get a decent deal on the knuckles, that is -- rn they're basically the same price so it'd be silly not to get the scroll first). i fully expect to have to buy it before i win it, which is fine
and i think so too, i'm pretty sure i've run into the second form during battle quests and managed a win or two -- though it was a while ago and i could be wrong since meatslab only has one opponent image and i don't pay much attention to names p: either way, the altar's definitely on the to-buy list, haha
Unfortunately, I think the best time to get retired challengers is with CSC when they return to the cash shop during black friday =/ You may be able to find someone willing to discount for sP during this time.
They both show up for battle quests! The resting version shows up during I believe levels 16 - 19 while the awakened version only shows up as a level 25 challenger.
yeah, it's definitely wishful thinking but it'll be a bit before i can buy either so i figure keeping any eye out for sales can't hurt ;w;
& thanks for the confirmation! i've likely beaten the awakened form before then, neat 8) hopefully he shows up after reset to so i can be sure, haha
