I see you've found my shop. Well, have you gotten anything from my Fragmentizer? If you have I would very much like to have them, and I'm offering only the finest wares in exchange for mass quantities of these precious, mysterious Humming Power Crystals. Do make sure they're in your Crystal Bank, though, as I will not accept mass transactions by hand.
Who is saying this to us?
We bring things to this character's Fragmentizer, and then trade them crystals in return for rare items. But who is this character? Why do they possess a Fragmentizer - did they build it? And where do they obtain the rare stock of their shop?
I know this is just lore and would require some art, so not a huge priority or anything for the subeta team. But, I think this would be a great addition to have eventually, an actual Crystal Shop NPC with some lore behind it. I've always loved the Fragmentizer but found it sort of out-of-the-blue because I don't even know who is talking to me when I go to spend my crystals there :)

I was kind of under the impression that it's Ian, since the Fragmentizer and Genetech Lab are like right next to each other and both places have to do with messing around with items. It's not entirely clear though, so it would probably be nice to have the Fragmentizer shop have an NPC associated with it.
I think it's been mentioned before that there are plans to redo the shop to make it more like the current shop style, like the Blue Building was updated recently. The crystal shop may be a little more complicated to fix though, IDK. But hopefully it will happen eventually.
Maybe it's the Wyllop last seen running from the zapper? The goddess Azagga or the god Nukum both look pretty destructive. A resurrected Bob the Fishing Ontra?
Bug I'm curious as well as I would like to put a face to the shop if that makes sense at all.

Support. I also would love to see the pawn shop owner have a bit more lore. Besides hello random wifebeater wearing demi lol. But thats not here or there.
Ngl I always assumed it was like, some all knowing machine. Like one of those change machines they have at grocery stores that take your coins and give you bills instead?
Like that, only way smarter and bigger and eats your items and poops out crystal shards instead.
Which makes it that much worse when you frag minions, But maybe it plays like elevator music REALLY REALLY loud when you start tossing minions in there, because y'know.. it is smart. Or maybe it doesn't because it's smart and it thinks we deserve it idk.
Oooooh, I think it would be fitting for the Crystal Shop to get a pet NPC for the shop, being tied in with the zapper and all. I wouldn't mind having a chill Endeavor to sell my crystals to, or a Charlie, maybe a Mahar?
Having a face to go with the text would be kinda cool... :) Please?
Did the Magic Shop have an NPC before it was shut down and NPC Lukien took over its stock?
I'm kinda delightfully creeped out by 's ideas. I can totally see something both alive and steamworksy.
oh, yeah i thought the fragmentizer belonged to ian... is that not the case?
If we can't have an NPC say this with their hands together, we need a voice actor who can reenact this in the most devilish way possible :P
If the Fragmentizer is Ian's, could it be the rreign Curie? Then, we would not need anything new (not that I don't like new), but could build on what's already been established? Just how far along the 'people' scale are they anyway?
I also like the idea of an 84 being used (needs all of those eyes to keep track of what's going on) or one of the robotic pets (robotic shopkeeper ❤️)~ Which segways into...
Finally, a use for dandybunnies. haha.

If we can't have an NPC say this with their hands together, we need a voice actor who can reenact this in the most devilish way possible :P Tile Monger's second job, then? They're a bit... obsessive. heh.
I wonder if Prodigy is behind all this fragmentization.
