For some reason I cant put any clothes on my avatar without it glitching which is heavily annoying. Anyway, are any of you into tarot readings and all of that? I was into it for a short while until my grandma stole my cards out of my room and threw them away. I never quite got over it, or found a deck i could become attached to its energy. Although recently, and im really hoping for this, recently i found a really kickass deck that went up on kickstarter called Dark Art Tarot, i really hope it gets funded. My tattoo artist is one of the art contributors so it would be doubly cool if i got one of the decks.. anyway i cant wait to get back into it because before it spelled out my life pretty good for me. I also used to do meditating but i had to stop years ago due to some very dark, horrible things that started happening when i did that, more than likely due to the fact that i was into some demonic stuff, but i stopped that years ago and have not had a problem since. Any of you guys into that spiritual kinda stuff? Tarot reading and meditating and crystals and stuff? (not just because its recently been turning hipster and mainstream?) Haha!

I'm only into tarot. I'm kinda mixed with it though. Like I don't believe in what I'm doing or that I have the power to predict anything but my readings apparently help people and are accurate so who knows. I do meditate though. Less for spiritual reasons and more to clear my head and relieve stress either before or after yoga.

I like the pictures on some tarot cards but apart from that I don't care about it. It's not sth. I can believe in (no judgement included, if other people believe in it then I'm not preaching them the opposite or something, live and let live) so I refuse to spend time with it. Same goes for other stuff, like crystals and so on.

I use my cards once in awhile when I need to level myself. I don't see them as predicting the future, I more use them as tools, suggesting areas of my life to focus on. I just ordered The Wild Unknown deck, it was like 35% off on Amazon so I thought, why not? I've been using a cheap dragon tarot deck for years, I still love it. I don't own a lot of crystals, but I love the ones I have. Again, I don't believe they have amazing powers, but I believe they help, if that makes sense? It's psychosomatic - believing that crystals can help you helps you to manifest good things, good feelings. It's like a placebo. If you believe they will help you, they will. Again, this is more to do with mood and outlook, they won't magically make you rich or fit or whatever, lol.

I love tarot cards and am looking to get an actual tarot deck sometime (I currently only have a deck of oracle cards that were named wrong due to the publisher: "The Daemon Tarot"). I'm strongly drawn to the "Mystical Cats Tarot" as well as "The Raven's Prophecy Tarot". I just have to get some money to get both of those. For now, I use the Galaxy Tarot app for Android which tends to be just as accurate as the oracle deck I mentioned (aka very accurate) and works the same as a physical deck in that the cards have to be shuffled and chosen.

I have many tarot decks (maybe about 8, I want to say?) as well as some oracle card decks. My favorite has to be my Tarot Illuminati deck... just something about it resonates with me quite strongly, and as a result I use it for most of my readings. I also do some crystal work, and meditate on occasion. In fact, I've currently got a citrine crystal point necklace around my neck that gets me a lot of compliments 😄

I haven't done a tarot reading in a long time. I'm going to have to dust off my deck and get back into it! I don't believe that there's anything mystical or magical about it but I think you can use the cards to help you get insights about a particular situation and think about it in a new way.
I've done readings for other people and they're usually pretty "accurate." If I know the person or I can get a good read off of them (cold reading, I suppose) I can make the reading more personal. Whether you believe in the cards or not, I think the most important thing about doing a reading for someone is to try to give them the best advice you can and not deceive them.

i own a tarot deck -The Shadowscapes Tarot - gorgeous art, seems positive, but some of the images are actually quite dark [therefore no need for reversed readings]. i got it off a chinese site [wish] simply because i couldnt afford getting it directly from the artist. [this means it has chinese writing on it as well, lol -lucky me as i study mandarin]

i also own an oracle deck, but i lost a card :( i never felt any connection to it, and therefore found it quite difficult to read. should try it again, i guess?

i did a few readings for others, and they were pretty accurate. i also have a handful of crystals including a rare emerald from colombia [i want to wear it, but i'm scared i'll lose it]

as far as meditation goes, i don't meditate, but i do pray to GOD [i strongly believe Jesus died for my sins, so i pray and am grateful for things i have/get]

i'm sorry your grandma threw your deck away :( i'm not sure i should listen to what the deck says, because in a way it says what i want it to say... so, i guess you get the point.

My mom's a tarot reader, and I like looking through her decks, but I haven't learned to do readings myself. But I think she's gotten a lot of people in my family into crystals, too, so I have gotten some... I don't use them for anything, though. ^^;

I'm just starting to learn Tarot. Like some other people here, I don't believe there's anything inherently mystical about them. I see it more as an ink blot test. The image is really nothing at all, but what you see in it says a lot about you and your current state of mind or situation. I'm trying to become more "intuitive" and learn all the meanings of the cards right now. I haven't had the courage to read for anyone else yet.

I've also done meditation for a while, but mostly just for stress relief and such. I've been neglecting it, but many people say it's good to meditate before doing a reading, so I'm trying to get back into that too.

sadly they didnt start showing untrue things nor realy unrelated things it was things like what will my future hold and it basicly showed me death in the family that ended up being my fathers now i keep them sealed in a protective box i wont give them to someone else cause i dont wish to bring something like that on anyone else

I am trying to memorize the meanings of the cards but I keep getting distracted. Nonetheless I do want to get into tarot reading. I think it's very interesting. I have some rose quartz rune stones I use for smaller readings--I like to cast the Norns with them--but unfortunately they are chipping as they knock against each other in the bag. I ended up getting some wood-burnt runes as an alternative and they are very nice, though.
