I've been in a creative mood lately, and that means YOU get to benefit from it! (insert finger-guns and a winking smile here) I write. I'm not published due to a niggling, all-encompassing fear of rejection and a general aversion to the stigma surrounding self-publication... but I write.
And I want to share my writing with all of Subeta, and not just through my pet profiles! Only, I just don't feel quite right slapping a set price-tag on my works. At least, not yet. So I'm testing the waters by offering a pay-what-you-want shop. Like what I've done for you, but don't have the sP/CSC/actual moolah to pay for it? That's cool. I know what that's like. REALLY love what I wrote for you, and you feel it's worth 5m, 300CSC, or even $10 (are you feeling alright?)? Well, friend, I'm not going to turn you down (though seriously, $10... you're beautiful. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise)!
But I'm guessing you want examples. And friend... I have some. Incomplete or being reworked: Nak Smasher. Finished: Kirke, and Shierza. Spotlight Nominees and Winners: Schmeow, Capt. Aileia Clariat, and Hollows.
If those don't do it for you, I've also got a story up on Archive of Our Own, but that's just a silly little unfinished fanfiction that I wrote to get a story out of my head. That's over here.
How It Works Orders will be first-come, first served, but slots are always open! Just know that if I've got more than two pieces on my plate, the turnaround may be a little slow (especially if I'm working on my own pets piecemeal). I'll always have an estimated delivery date ready for you, however.

You can’t trust other women, Norman. All women are dirty, filthy creatures. Except for your dear mother. A boy’s best friend is his mother, after all. And you love me… don’t you, Norman?
He loved her, alright. She was his mother. His everything, aside from their shared house, the motel, and his taxidermy birds. A man’s got to have a hobby, and taxidermy was a completely valid one. Taxidermy was relaxing. After all, they didn’t get too many visitors to Fairvale, so Norman needed to keep his hands busy. It was just him and Mother, always had been, since Father died. And his dear mother was ill. So very, very ill. He had to keep an eye on her at all times. She needed him to take care of her. What other option did he have, really? Putting her in a home? Perish the thought. No, Norma Bates belonged right where she was, nice and safe at home with her dear son, Norman.
But that nice woman with the Ford, who was renting a room for the night…They had a nice dinner together. But Mother wasn’t happy about that. They had to eat in the motel’s parlor. Away from Mother’s piercing glare. She was a pretty lady; surely she wasn’t as filthy as all other women? Although, she did try to suggest that Mother ought to be committed. That wasn’t very nice of her. Not at all. But she has a nice body… you could have some fun with her, maybe… Mother couldn’t possibly see anything from here… Norman watched the blonde woman casually undress and climb into the shower from a secret peephole behind a painting. He found himself feeling a strange urging from deep within. An ugly feeling. Sinful, even.
Next thing he knew, he was driving the woman’s Ford Custom 300 into a swamp. Cleaning up the blood was easy for the most part; she’d been taking a shower when Mother killed her. Yet another nice lady that Mother had become jealous over, jealous enough to kill them. A real shame, that. The woman’s body was in the trunk. So much blood… Mother really needs to calm down. Too much stress isn’t good for her. She’s starting to lose her grip. What was I thinking? Dinner at the house, really?
...There. Evidence concealed, and for good. Nobody would ever know about the nice blonde lady and her Ford Custom, nobody would know about her visit to the Bates Motel, or the nice little dinner and conversation about taxidermy… nobody would ever know that Mother had flown off the handle once again and killed. Nobody would suspect a thing. Maybe the truck of her car, submerged in a swamp wasn’t a little private island like the nice woman was looking for, but she’d have an eternity to get over it.
He was so very, very sorry to have upset Mother like that.

Hi I was wondering, if you are still doing this, if you would like to come up with a story for Calamity Jane. She's my pet based on me. My Mum always called me Calamity, after Calamity Jane from the 1953 film, staring Doris Day. When I was small I was always a bit of a tomboy, playing with/annoying my older brother and cousins, getting grubby and believing everything they could do I could do too. One of my favourite animals is the sloth, I think because it represents the lazy side of my personality. I am a Gemini and very definitely have two sides to my character, one very chilled out and laid back and the other impatient with too much to do in too short a time. This is all just background information for you to incorporate into the story or not ?
Thanks for stopping in! I certainly can do that for you. It's nearly 3am here (why am I awake), but I could get this started for you sometime today. Depending on how much I can get done between the duties I have for the dogs I'm petsitting (they're needy little things), I could probably have it done by tonight, with Friday afternoon or Saturday being the absolute latest.

Character basis is that he's a warrior for a child prince (my other pet Yuki_Kun). Other than that I'm pretty open
Argh, I was in the process of updating the OP, forgot I was replying to you, and what I wrote is now gone. ): I'll definitely take it on! The creative juices have yet to dry up (ohgod, I hope I don't jinx myself). Did you have any particular name in mind for the main character (or would referring to him as 'Winter' or even just 'Warrior' suffice)?
Expected turnaround time will probably be around the same time as Calamity - with Saturday evening being the latest, ideally. (I'm usually busy Friday nights, so there's a good five hours of not writing.) I can have the piece done, and barring need for adjustments, ready for you this weekend.
In my head I usually refer to him as Winter, but am not opposed to others calling him by the rank of warrior =) and no rush :)

He knelt before the prince, who needed the assistance of a stool himself in order to perform the ceremony properly. The prince’s adviser nodded. “Yes. Now you take the sword – no, with the flat of the blade; you don’t want to kill your new knight, do you?”
The prince was still a young boy. Winter was being raised to the rank of a knight in order to personally protect the prince. With the king dead, and the prince Yuki too young to assume the throne properly, the king’s advisers had far more political power – for now. But an adviser couldn’t perform the rite of accolades, no matter how much power and influence they had.
Winter was to protect the prince, the boy-king, with his life. He would travel alongside the royal carriage. Stand at the right-hand side of the throne during public ceremony, and to keep a watchful eye over every soul that approached the budding monarch. He was no longer just a simple soldier, now he was part of the King’s Guard. Protectors of the Crown.
Such promotion wasn’t common; very few knights ever became part of the Guard. And usually, they had been nobles before even entering knighthood. Winter had been the son of peasants; too poor to send their son for schooling, he had only two choices – apprenticeship to a smith or other craftsman… or become a page.
Slowly he worked his way through the ranks. He wasn’t even allowed to wield a blade until after his promotion to squire – and even then, he was mostly handling the weaponry belonging to other, more capable fighters. After several years maintaining the weapons of others, and training in the use of them, the former king saw fit to promote Winter from just a lowly squire, to Sir Winter. A standard knight and fighter for the crown. And now he’d be a Ser. A member of the King’s Guard.
The words of the accolade ceremony eventually tuned themselves out. The flat of the blade touched his shoulders – right first, then left – and finally, touched his neck ever so slightly. Ser Winter, he thought, it has a nice ring to it, doesn’t it?
Once he felt the blade lift from his neck, Winter raised his head and lightly took the young boy-king’s right hand into his. “My lord, I pledge myself to thee, my life and my sword.” Winter kissed the signet ring on the prince’s finger gently. Yuki seemed unsure of what to do next, and looked to the adviser who had been coaching him through the ceremony so far. The adviser nodded again. “Now tell him to rise, and hand him his sword.”
Yuki’s eyes brightened, he stammered out the next words of the script with a slight waver to his voice, and presented Winter’s blade to him.
Winter took up the sword, and sheathed it. He was a Guard now, the highest order of knights. Not only that, he was specifically chosen to guard the young soon-to-be King, even among the other, more senior members of the Guard who had served Yuki’s father.
He would gladly give his life to protect the young prince.

I have Larks That I just can't seem to write for. Larks adores plushies and pink and frolicking in the outback. She's a little older in her years, but sweet.
Her best friend is Kizzy who is all about sweets and sugary and Lilly an adorable yarn spinning kitty.

That is one gorgeous profile for Larks! And yeah, I think I can swing something. You say she's a little older in years; do you have an age range in mind? I'd hate to write her as a little old-but-active granny type if she's only meant to be in her late forties, you know?
Since I'm also working on one of my own pets right now, I can probably start writing at some point today before my usual Friday evening activities, and barring catastrophe, have something for you by... probably Monday morning. Just to give you a timeframe.
Honestly, I don't have an age in mind other than older than 30. Wow that fast? Awesome! Sounds great as a time frame, and feel free to take longer if you need. Hugs Thank you so much! ^_^

Just wanted to give you both an update - I had a fairly busy weekend, so I wasn't able to get much done on either of your pieces. And Monday ended up being a bust as well. I'll be writing like a maniac today though, so hopefully you'll have something in your inboxes by tonight. :3

A basic background: Arael is a Seraph, the leader of one of the highest armies of God. During a war between heaven and hell (where earth and humans were afflicted) he saw how human kind was suffering and decided to take a less violent path to guide his army. This caused the angels in his control to see him as weak and rebel against him, so the only thing he could do was escape, or else he'd get killed. He ran to earth and remained hidden until the war ended, that was when God saw all his actions to preserve humans, God's most loved creation, and rewarded him by casting all the rebel angels out of Heaven and giving Arael the post of "Angel of Balance", being responsible for keeping the balance between good and evil in the Earth and answering the prayers of people in times of doubt. This war happened during the Middle Age, but was erased from history by God in a act of mercy, to protect us.
