Just curious. Do you know how many pets you've adopted? How many you've cough abandoned pounded or found a home for and transferred out? :) Any regrets?

From my memory, which may or may not be poor, I've pounded 2 pets and transferred 1 after finding a good home for them. In retrospect, I wish I hadn't had pounded 1 of the 2 as it would have made a good fan pet that I would have liked to work on now but... Oh well. xD

I've adopted 6 out of my 22 pets, so I guess it's a fair share (4 of which were straight from the pound adoption center!). At the beginning, I kind of felt like I owed it to the adoption center to adopt because I pounded my 2. Strange, I know right? X)

Honestly I can't really remember how many I adopted out. :o Maybe 5 or 6? My main regret was with Hunk, but my friend was kind enough to send him back to me when I told her how much I missed him. She just sent him the next day after we've talked for a while longer, and added that she thought about it and just wants me to have him back since she couldn't force herself to work on him anyways. ❤️

I've adopted ... Smith, Andre, Brynjolf, Gregor, Joseph Oda, Legolas, Monstrum, Pascow, Rusty, Salvador, Sewell, Starbuck ........ I guess that's it? I bet I forgot one. xD

I've adopted and abandoned and adopted out lots of pets over the years. It's hard to keep track because I name change them if they have low IDs, even ones I've adopted in.

Off the top of my head.... I've gotten from the pound: Syvyys, Gentle Crimson, Pumpernickel (?), Jamarcus, Bathilde, mothercreep, 35mm, Fast Dog, and Kushy. I've applied for/adopted from other users: Kinesis, Septicæmia, Mee, Salts, Rainbow Child, Security Bot, Body Horror, Moorgeist, Jawbone... Uz(?)

I've abandoned and found in the pound again and re-adopted: Pythagorium and Mackenzi, what amazing luck.

I probably abandoned a good handful over the years, and I've adopted out several who I was a little more particular to get to good homes. I'd say in combination of abandoning and adopting out, over a dozen, if not more. I don't think I regret any... maybe 4 Calling Birds, which is a great name. But I'd rather get names that I've been stalking for a while over adopting them again.

One of my oldest pets I adopted from the pound when I first joined and he's been with me ever since. I don't think I've ever adopted out any of my pets. One time when I had a free slot I adopted a pet from the pound, then put it back, and did the same thing with a different pet. If that counts. xD

I can't remember how many I've adopted out, probably about 5 maybe 6

but I've currently got 25 pets I adopted in, 25 of my 51 pets. Almost half are adopted :D

I don't know full totals but currently 7 of my 28 pets were adopted. That'll go up to 8 of 29 once I get transferred a pet I'm waiting for.

I probably adopted out a shit ton of pets (mostly within friends). I don't have a good record with adopting pets (13/75 are adopted). Like adopting out, I adopted in most of them from friends ❤.

I adopt to zap. So many, so many. Almost 400. I'd been doing this for awhile before I started to keep track. So there's a lot missing from my lists. It's probably around 100 more. Then adding in when I first joined, I made and abandoned a few pets, 10-20 at least.

I've kept 12. Of those only 4 have their original names. Noel Fielding is the only one I've actually adopted from another user.

BUT ASIDE FROM THOSE UH miki, egoist, folie, ell, blac and miki were all adoption center finds ive, harri, alena and cati were adopted from other people yoshio, toshi, mirko, andrzej, myranda, kafka and jackdaw were all names my friends got for me during clearings

i can think of three pets off the top of my head i've adopted out/pounded but there might be more :> bc i'm a hoarder and don't let go of my digital children okay

Funny enough, I was curious about the same thing just the other day!

I've definitely pounded/adopted out my fair share of pets over these past ten years. I am really awful when it comes to splurge-creating a pet (same with adopting) only to end up re-homing or re-pounding them anywhere between days to years later. I honestly probably let 15 pets, give or take, go. And yesssss I have plenty of regrets! I don't want to name their names since active users own 'em, but I still regret pounding two of my pets to this day. I feel so dumb and made a newbie mistake lol.

Truthfully most of my pets are created after name clearings. Dinosaur is the only pet I currently have that I filled out an application and adopted. I used to have some pets that I adopted from the Adoption Center but then ended up re-pounding them myself, oops. Otherwise, a friend had created and held onto Zak until I had the space to bring him in, and the only reason why Chelsea has an adoption date is because there was a time a friend changed her into a Bhakoru and sent her back to me (course now she's a jollin so that was pointless lol).

I've adopted/abandoned far too many pets to count over the years. I've never really kept track. I think among the abandoned pets I maybe regret losing two of the names?

I've recently started trying to adopt out instead of pounding, it's nice knowing where a pet is going. :)

30/67 on my account are adopted, mostly from the pound but occasionally from other users. Among the pound finds are Flutter, Sequoia, Brigitte, Meryl, Arlo and Joaquin (2013 was a great year for me name-wise, it seems). Sometimes I'll grab a pet if I see they've got increased stats/intel and do a rename.

25 pet names on my account are adopted, either from others or from the pound. No idea how many I have adopted out, I prefer to rename bcos I want to keep my pet id's. I think I never opened an ufa board on the forums, only adopted out to friends or just tossed into adopt r us.

Had to check the born/adopted dates for some of my pets to see if they were originally adoptees, but of my 31 pets:

12 adopted from the pound (for lower IDs and renamed) 2 adopted from other users and the rest are all ones I've created which is more than I thought! Gets a bit confusing where some of them have had name changes over the years.

Not sure how many I've pounded, but I don't think it's that many. I can think of 3 off the top of my head, so maaaybe 5? I usually rename rather than abandoning. 2 of the 3 I remember were when I very first joined the site and were my first two pets. I decided I didn't like their names and in those days it was far easier/cheaper to adopt new pets than rename my current ones. Regret it a little bit. The third I think I would have renamed, but for the new character idea I had a more specific ID requirement so the pet needed to go to make room.
