Hi guys! I've been a member for 9 YEARS!!! Since I was in elementary (I'm a young adult now) and honestly I've only recently started playing again. When I was younger and would play I didn't always pay attention to gaining lots of collections, metals, high ranking pets, building unique profiles, etc etc etc.. Sometimes I see other users who have been on Subeta for as long as I have and their stats are HIGH!!! High sticker count, plushie count, lots of metals, their pets are super high in numbers too, and other stuff as well.
Does that matter to other users? Like, is it bad that I'm NOT that far? I don't really engage in conversation on Subeta with other users so I was wondering if not having high stats in stuff and expensive HAs are frowned upon or laughed at.. I've been building up everything slowly over time since I started to play regularly again, it's super fun. I've missed Subeta a lot. But yeah, just wondering!
Also, feel free to comment what your favorite thing about Subeta is! ^.^
To me it absolutely doesn't matter what others do or don't do.
Someone has a Wardrobe full of Wearables (and even tons of CW)? Someone has a full Plushie/Beanbag/whatever collection? Someone has fed their Pet more than I to mine? Someone has a Pet with stats above 10k (is that even possible? lol)? Or whaaaatever you want to insert here. I really don't care. Any of these things don't make a better person of you and seriously I won't cry myself to sleep thinking about how I don't have reached any of these goals. xD
I only collect Pets, if others don't and only have 1 or 2 and rather spend their sP/csc for clothing or any other thing I won't even think about frowning upon them. Each to their own. (:
I can't speak for everyone, but I'll echo some of what said. To me personally, it definitely doesn't matter what other people choose to do on here. I wouldn't judge anyone based on how "good" their account is or anything like that.
There are a ton of different things to do on here, people should focus on whatever they like. For example, I enjoy working on collections and getting achievements and training my battle pet, but I don't really care about having a ton of pets and making stories for them and all of that.
Find what you like doing on here and do that, but don't worry about what other people think because I feel like chances are most users don't really pay attention to what others are doing unless they're talking about their own accounts with their friends or something.
Tbh I couldn't care less how other people run their Subeta life, each to their own like said as well.
I personally love to "collect" Pets because I love to create characters and to make fanpets, I think I have all the Pumpkins because it's an easy to manage collection, I like to get new forum titles and I more or less collect stickers but that's it actually. My Wardrobe is an ugly mess (and in 99% of all cases I'm not even using the avatar doll for my avatars and usually use the same avatar for months, my current one being a good example of my amazing style, lol), my Achievement count is mediocre at best and plushies/beanbags I don't even try to collect on a serious basis (too overwhelming for my taste) so I only toss in the plushies and beanbags I got from quests or can buy during holidays. I used to train two of my Pets but even that I've stopped because it was to much of an effort for me. I'm a lazy Juice but happy that way.
I just make money and collect wears tbh.
generally no!!! i don't care much for achievements and medals. i don't work on pet stats, only species/colour and i don't really go out of my way to build my plushie & beanbag collections. i do like seeing my collection numbers go up, so if i notice that i dont have a plushie/beanbag, i'll add it, but those collections aren't really a priority!
i focus on making $$$$$$ (restocking) and collecting items for my galleries!
Its really cool hearing all the replies! And..it makes me feel better haha. I thought everyone was super focused on stats
There probably are some people who want to collect everything and have the best of this or that, but I feel like even they likely aren't concerned about what other people are doing (only their own achievements).
I love collecting, but I go at my own pace and I'm not trying to race to the top of the leader boards or anything. It's more of a personal goal/achievement sort of thing. If you want to start collecting more too, that's great! But yeah, don't feel like you have to race to catch up or anything, I doubt anyone would judge you or your account for it. 😊
There's a lot to do on Subeta and everyone has fun in different ways. Please don't worry about being laughed at or people looking down at you, because I would never do that and as you can see from the other replies no one else does either haha. If someone judges you for it, they need to mind their own business.
The one thing I have noticed though, is that people tend to judge a bit if you have a pet with a really good name (like real word or a real name) that you haven't visibly worked on. But personally I think that is only out of jealousy for having a name. If a pet makes you happy, it shouldn't matter to anyone else what you do with it, it's yours.

It doesn't matter at all, really, unless that's the kind of thing you're into. Me, personally, I strive to have a nice account. But I don't care if I see someone without what I have.
preach!! i probably have a couple desirable/popular names i haven't done anything with yet, and sometimes lowkey wonder if someone's salty over it lmao
anyway i do passively work on my beanbag/plushie collections but mostly bc i like achivements, though it's also not my favorite thing to do on subeta so i don't spend millions on it :> mostly i just like working on my pets and make edgy cute ha's~ .............. and train/feed/read books to nivo which is basically an addiction at this point q __ q i just want to reach 7k foods pls after that i will be free
I've been on here for over 10 years and have never cared about any of that. I'm far too lazy and really only just come here to do quests, hoard sP (I have over a billion now) and occasionally make new ocs xD
Don't worry. I don't think most people care about stats that much. Though you might end up making more friends who share the same passion on subeta (eg. the HA community, the battle community, the pet community, etc.). However, if you are just casually playing for fun, and don't feel like focusing on anything, it's totally cool too :).

I'm kind of interested, but it's more like idle the curiosity of seeing what people are interested in. More or less I assume they do what they enjoy and dabble in other areas when they feel like it and don't judge them for their areas of interest. On a petsite that focuses so much on fashion I mostly ignore my avatar for instance. It's a single player game so what other people choose to do doesn't affect what I do.
Sometimes I wonder when people have 50 pets but don't seem to have done anything other than changed the species or color. But again, I assume they do what makes them happy.
I know I don't work on original stories for my pets anymore because I don't like the idea of subeta taking my stories and owning them. So the ones I work on tend to be fan pets. Maybe other people share the same reasoning. c:
I don't care what type of account you have as long as you like what you're doing and have a good attitude. And by good attitude, I don't mean being happy all the time, I mean not being an asshole to other people. We all have our bad days though so I don't judge based on one incident. X)
I largely see that as liability management. It protects Subeta from suit if you were to write a story and then there's a plot or character that's similar, but if your story were to become the seed for a novel or screenplay you later write (without any Subeta IP, of course) then it's unlikely Subeta could take you to court claiming it as their IP based on their ToS.
It's strange. A few years ago (on a different account I can't for the life of me remember the password to; RIP) I used to focus on pet colors and backstories but not necessarily their stats. But how I play on Subeta is totally different now. Collections matter to me. Battle stats matter to me. I love achievements (especially if they reward forum titles). And I like peeping how far along other people are but only as long as they have similar play styles as me. If someone focuses developing characters for their pets more so than they do their plushie collection, I don't judge them for that. I actually love looking at all the effort people put into their characters even though I haven't really gotten around to putting in that much effort into mine (eventually I will).
tl;dr I think it's cool peeking into other people's accounts no matter what their play style is. Whether their focus is on pet (fictional) development, stats, collections, galleries, achievements; it's really interesting. And inspiring. I get a lot of ideas from players. Especially from ones who don't play the way I do.
It all depends on what is important to you and what you enjoy most about Subeta. I don't think anyone really judges people for how much they have in x collection, how many pets they have, or how full their wardrobe is, etc. I love playing in the wardrobe and dressing up my HA so I buy a ton of clothes. If you don't enjoy that then you don't have to buy a ton of clothes. I know people that change their outfit everyday and people that have never changed their outfit. I also love to battle so I have several battle pets. Of all the years I've been on here I only have one high tiered pet, but it's nothing that I get shamed for. The battle community is actually very friendly and are always willing to help new battlers.
I'm mainly here to talk to others and play around in the wardrobe. I also have a few pets that I'm very slowly working on. I casually work on collections. The only thing I don't do much of is battling. I just like to do everything at my own pace.
It doesn't matter to me what people focus on. Do what you enjoy and have fun!
