As someone who is both trans* and disabled, I think it would be super cool if we could get more scar wearables of realistic types? Like in placements one might get as a result of reconstructive or corrective surgery? I really appreciate that items like canes and crutches and such exist on here now but I feel those would be a great addition.

Eeeh, no thank you. Imho, it's kind of pointless and a little tacky? Most people would just cover them up with wearables, and I'd rather not have that sort of stuff become a wearable on a pet site. It's kind of reducing us to something cool and niche you could throw on your avatar, and I'd rather not be treated like a fashion accessory. At least, in my opinion. I can understand why some people would want this, this is just my two cents on the matter.

But why? Subeta is a fantasy site, I feel there is no reason for limb replacements or whatever. I am sorry, but no support for this suggestion.

I could definitely see these scars used as "fantasy" themed things and fantasize battle wounds etc. As an enby person, no thank you. I'd be okay with normal scars tho. Just not that kind.

Subeta already has limb replacements. There are all kinds, mostly fantasy ones, at Rachelle's and there are realistic prosthetics, like people irl have, at Medicontra.

However that's not what the suggestion is about so I'm not really sure why you brought it up.

We have lots and lots of weird limb replacements, and so forth for Halloween. That really should be enough.

If it's more scars like ones already on site, yes, I can support. Transition ones make me a little iffy and no matter how I mean the wording, someone's going to take it wrong so...

I'm all for more fantasy scars, but...I dunno surgical scars just strike me the wrong way. I don't think they're very...tasteful? I guess.

Looking to buy this!

My first thought was 'aw man, I want stand alone, individual eye scars' As a cis guy I can't speak on scars like this, I wouldn't be against them if they were done respectfully (which Subeta is generally good about now !) but I also don't think I'd use them (maybe if I made an HA based off a character that's had the surgery, but only after speaking to people to see how alright it actually is). I get why they would be wanted by some, and not by others. You can also, perhaps, look into a CW ? As this does seem personal.

Don't suggestively equate a Hollywood stereotype to corrective surgery for someone to feel more comfortable in their own skin. It's not the same. The suggestion that Subeta shouldn't have limbs because it's fantasy is also kinda... what ? Fantasy characters SHOULD be inclusive to show that anyone can be in stories, not just able-bodied people, especially in fantasy-based things where characters that have hearing loss, missing limbs, etc, are erased. Wheelchair bound people aren't even allowed. We need MORE things that show off how absolutely amazing disabled people are.

Okay forgive me, but I was under the impression that transitioning folks wanted to hide their scars, not bring them to attention? At least the trans people I've talked to idk. I am always for more 'fantasy' scars similar to the ones we already have tho. Def want more stuff like

I second all the comments on it needing to be tasteful. I'm also trans and tbh I'm one of those people who is super visible about it. I personally cannot wait to have chest scars (I plan to get tattoos that accent them - not hide them) and would love to be able to represent myself in that way! I also understand that I don't represent all trans peoples' feelings. My opinion on it is that it should be crafted by and for trans people, and by this I mean the scars are used to represent someone who is trans or a character who is trans, and crafted from trans input. And this would be really hard to regulate (p much impossible tbh).

tldr; I'm all for it and want to wear it as long as everyone on site is respectful about its use
