So, this morning I managed to delete my forum group on accident while trying to see who was still in it - I use a tablet with a touchscreen at home, and I just mistapped while going to view members. Apparently there's no pop-up notification when you delete a group; it's just gone, poof.

Luckily, it's no big loss for this group in particular (it only had a few members, I didn't use it much, and I didn't have anything in the till), but it's kind of an issue that you can delete a group entirely without meaning to with one single click. Could we get a pop-up confirmation for this?

oof, yeah, that would be a serious issue if the group had sp in its bank... i know some people think we've got "too many" confirmation popups on this site but this is one area where i think it's legitimately needed.

My sentiments exactly. I also don't think it's one of those confirmations that you run into often enough to be annoying.

Even if you didn't have sP in the group bank, it would be a huge pain to have to regroup if you accidentally deleted a large group with lots of members.

A popup confirmation would be nice in this case.

I support this suggestion. Similarly, I've left a group by accident because the page jumped on my tablet.
