I don't know if I'm alone in this or if it's possible but since there are so many wearable items and the icons don't always necessarily represent what they are, when i am dressing up my avatar I struggle to find certain items or type of items. It would be nice if there could be tabs for categories in items so that we at least know where to look if we want makeup/hair/background etc. At least I'm hoping it would be a thing. ;v;

There already is something like this, if you click on the blue "Filters" button there's an option to sort by layer. It has things like background, chest, bottoms, and such. I think there have been some suggestions to expand on that to make like makeup layers or other things, because some items don't necessarily make sense with the layer that they're in. But it's an option you can look in the layer you think the item you want might be in, and for now it's better than nothing.
